This past weekend I (Emily) got to go to Ohio and Indiana to see my family! It was so wonderful, and it was the first time that I got to see my niece, Maggie.

I left Friday night and got to Ohio about 11:30. Then I slept through the night and we left early Saturday morning to go to Indiana to visit Jeremy and Katiera and the kids. I hadn't seen them since our wedding.

Noah has gotten so big! He's talking now. He can say "Em" and "Emmy," but he hasn't mastered "Emily" yet. He calls both my mom and dad "Dampa." And his favorite person is my dad. He always wants to be with him. He's not too sure about me yet though, I'm still pretty new to him.

Saturday night we had a birthday party for Noah and Katiera. We walked into the dining room to find Noah with a handful of cake. He just dug into it when nobody was looking! He loves his cake! Also Saturday night Alexis and her boyfriend, Clayton, came to visit too! It was good to see her! All of us played games and talked until late. Sunday was a funfilled day too! We went to church in the morning, and then we went out to eat and to the zoo. Noah was so excited about the zoo! He kept saying "Zoo! Zoo!" It was fun to watch him with all of the animals.

At one point he almost got bitten by an ostrich. That was a little scary for him! And the rest of us! He was going to feed the ostrich through the gate, but he dropped the leaves and stuck his hand through, and the ostrich went for his hadn instead! Luckily Jeremy has fast reflexes, and he pulled Noah back just in time. Noah has yet to see a cow, or a "moo" in his words. It was pretty dissappointing for him that there were none at the zoo.

Our zoo trip ended when it closed and my mom realized that the Cavs were playing, so we had to go to a restraunt that had TVs so that she could watch LaBron play. They lost, it was very dissappointing. After dinner we left to drive back to Ohio. On Monday I got to spend some time with Aunt Barbara, and my friend Stephanie came over with her baby. Then I packed up and flew home! Ryan was there to meet me at the airport! It was sad to leave my family. I probably won't see them until Christmas. But it was great to be back with Ryan.

I love going to visit family. Ohio will always be home. I'm very blessed to have many places that are home to me, where there are people that I love, and people that love me!
