11.06.09 - EBTC Board Meeting

This week was our biannual Bahamian Board Meeting. We enjoyed welcoming Paul and David Gather back to the island as they were here for our last meeting. In addition to Paul and David, David's wife Amy came back down and so did Mike Fastzkie, and finally our financial secretary Cindy made her first trip to visit the island.

Our meeting this year was occasion for praise as we continually recounted the ways God has blessed us this past year. From an amazing beginning for our two new schools in St. Martin and Rock Sound to the many lives impacted through our team season, we are quite thankful for God's provision and guidance.

We had a great turnout for the meeting and really enjoyed the company of our entire Bahamian Board along with the US staff. We looked at some long range planning and we've set some goals for both this upcoming year and for many years out.

It is such a privilege to have these meetings be a time of rejoicing and thankfulness for what the Lord is doing. We pray that we'll have many more to celebrate.
