4.23.10 - Micah Turns Two!
Although its like he has been in the "twos" stage for months now - now its official, our little boy is 2! We had little celebrations while his grandparents were here, but today was the big party with all the presents they left behind and pizza and cake… even if it was only the three of us!
So, Micah loves airplanes, just about more than anything in the world (except maybe soda - which he calls "bubbles" cause it fizzes). As he was opening his presents he found one with an airplane in it, and that instantly became his favorite.
The buffet of presents this year consisted of mainly trucks, cars and more trucks. And our big gift to him was this super cool outdoor play side!
He was jumping on the plastic sides even before I could get them constructed. Then we had to pry him away from going down the slide in order to go inside and eat cake - what a boy!
Emily has been working with him to say the word "two," and he is really getting it. Just toddy we called his Aunt Kari and Micah told her that he was "two." (You know… parents get proud over the little things). It really is super cute though!
Tonight Emily and Micah will be coming to the last night of class with me, and I'm sure we'll be bringing along some of the trucks and toys from the big birthday day!
Two years ago today we were amazed with the precious gift the Lord gave us, and ever since our lives have been immeasurably blessed. We truly thank God for two wonderful years with our happy little boy!
