Maggie Reagan Pfeister was born at 11:30am on March 1st to the proud parents Jeremy and Katiera Pfeister. Doctors said that she was supposed to be born on March 11th, but little Maggie had other plans. On the morning of the first day of March Katiera was certain today was the day!

Once at the hospital, preparations were quickly made for little Maggie’s arrival however the doctors soon became worried. Katiera began to feel uneasiness in the middle of contractions so the doctors hurried to check on the baby’s progress. Suddenly they noticed a sharp drop in the baby’s heartbeat! Concerned that there may be complications with the birth and the baby’s heath the doctors evaluated the potential of performing a Cesarean Section.

However, before they had perform surgery, Maggie’s heart returned to normal and it was discovered that in the middle of the contractions her umbilical cord had gotten tied around her ankle. After she got herself free the complications disappeared and Maggie and mom had a successful birth! These complications were not proved to be directly related to Maggie’s early arrival, yet it was certainly the providence of God saw little Maggie safely into this world.

Doctors gave her the stamp of approval after a drawn out 48 hour stay in the hospital and now Jeremy and Katiera are welcoming home their brand new baby girl, and Noah’s new baby sister.

Jeremy and Katiera said that they chose the name Maggie Reagan primarily because they just liked it. Jeremy said that they were sticking it to the Democrats, but he was just kidding. Really the name Maggie Reagan is a bit Irish and they both said it just fit.

Maggie has dark hair just liker her Mom. Jeremy says, “She’s got a lot more hair than her grandpa does.”

Grandma Pfeister says, “She’s just so precious; she’s beautiful and I just love her. She’s such a gift from God and I just praise the Lord for her - that she was healthy and safe.”

Well, we welcome you baby Maggie, and we’re thankful that you’re here safe and sound! You’re going to love playing with your big brother Noah, and I’m sure he’ll teach you all about being ‘on time’!

Send Jeremy and Katiera your congratulations and thoughts at “pfeisters@earthlink.net”.
