January Newsletter '11
Greetings,
Happy New Year! We have much to be thankful for and rejoice over from 2010, and now we look with optimism for 2011. This prayerletter edition will look at our family time over Christmas and a New Year's perspective of our ministry in Eleuthera.

A Merry Christmas
As always with holiday travel, we have to split up our time with both sides of the family. Although we usually start with the Pfeisters, we actually spent more time in December up at the Flunker Grandparents' house.
We had a wonderful time in Ohio with Emily's family. There was eggnog, trains around the tree, some insanely fast sledding, trips to see friends, and the routine doctor's appointments. One of our favorite times was volunteering with the Salvation Army to hand out food to families. And we got to do it as a family; we'll definitely look forward to that each year.
After a week in Ohio it was a long ride with Kari up north to see Papa and Mimi. Our Christmas time has been filled with the usual traditions, cutting the tree, opening presents, traveling to GG's, the Flunker Family Fun Day, snacking on Christmas treats all day long, and finding that chores aren't even chores when you're doing them with family.
We had a full and wonderful visit back with family and friends for Christmas. Most of all we're thankful for the anniversary of the tender love of God which scandalously allows His Son to be born of man for our redemption.

Ministry Perspective
2010 had a great start with the solid beginning of our school in Rock Sound. Then in the fall we started a 2nd school in James Cistern which has received tremendous support and a solid start for 2011.
We finished up classes in both schools in early December with our Preaching Biblical Messages Course and our Church History Course. Now we're looking forward to starting back in JC with our Bible Survey Courses of OT and NT, and finishing our 2 year program in Rock Sound with our Missions Course (both schools will resume in February and March respectively).

Update
There's so much so reflect on and report on from this past year, as well as look forward to in the coming. Micah is growing so big, and while he still uses his suckie from time to time, he knows all his ABC's and can count into the 20s. Its safe to say that we're very proud parents and cherish everyday with our little boy. Emily discovered homemade jewelry making in 2010, and I'm positive that she'll become a pro in 2011, and I'm still using my free time for research and ministry study. January will see us at the MIssions Conference at Cedarville and visiting our church FBC Frisco.
We would like to acknowledge our gratitude and thankfulness to our Lord for you our supporters. It is our deepest prayer that your support and giving to our ministry is for you an expression of worship to our Lord. We are all on "mission" together, and we thank you for helping us be part of God's plan of making disciples in and throughout the Caribbean. We pray God's blessings to you in 2011, that you may see God daily through the fellowship of His people, and that the gift of His eternal life through Jesus Christ would bring joy to you and your family.

Prayers and Praises
We praise God for His faithfulness to our calling in ministry for another year
Praise God for invaluable families who love the Lord and love each other
Praise God for this time of refreshment and encouragement with family and friends
Please pray for our ministry on Eleuthera for 2011, there is much on the calendar and there will no doubt be many challenges. We cherish your prayers and are convinced that God answers them and uplifts us through them. The task of missions is truly a collective task that depends on the Spirit's work through the whole body of Christ
Pray for safe travel throughout our time in the US
Finally please pray for the repentance of many in all reached and unreached people groups, that the Kingdom of God would continue to transform this evil world.
