Wow, March is already over! Here's my late "Happy Birthday" to my mom and Aunt Barb! Happy Birthday!

We spent the whole day today spring cleaning! I finished our guest room and the guest bathroom and the windows and the living room, but I still have a lot more to go. Ryan washed the cars and the dishes and did lots of random things I had on a list for him to do. Then, we went on a family date tonight to our favorite Cheeseburger place! It was very fun! ON the way there we passed piles of sand that are STILL laying by the road. Things here happen very slowly, and months ago they piled huge piles of sand along the road with the intent of spreading them out to expand the road. I bet myself a million dollars (which of course I don't have) that the piles would still be there when Ryan's parents come to visit. They come Friday, and the piles are still there...........we'll see...

Today was a busy day! Little Wayne came over and I taught him more ABCs and 123s, and then I read at the school this afternoon. I then spent the next few hours trying to keep Micah out of the trash and shoes! That little boy!!!.... I love him so much!

Ryan spent the day with the team at a school in the southern part of the island. He said they had a good day, but he said it was dirty whatever they had to clean, and they painted too.

Tonight i ate dinner with the team but poor Ryan spent the evening fixing our septic system with Wade. Both our toilets overflowed today. I took the team to the caves too tonight, which was really fun! I love getting to spend time with the team! I'm pretty sure we're taking the day off tomorrow. While I love being with the team and Ryan does too, we haven't had much time to spend together, so hopefully tomorrow will be restful for us.

Today was a great day! Wayne came over and I tutored him for a while and thisafternoon I got to pour concrete with the team for a while while Micah slept. Then tonight the girls from the team helped with Bible Study with my girls. We played volleyball, and had brownies, and then the whole team went to the court, and I played basketball with my Bible Study girls. We had so much fun!

Micah is 11 months old today! I can't believe only one more month and he'll be a year old! My little baby is growing up too fast!

Yesterday we took the team (from Indian Rocks Christian in Florida) to Spanish Wells. Ryan taught Sunday School at the People's church, and after that Candi and some other women made us all lunch then we headed to the beach. We saw three sting rays in the water!

Today the team poured concrete and filled rocks in our driveway. And I took some of them to school thismorning to play with the kids while the teachers had a prayer meeting. We had a fun day! After they worked all morning they went to the beach and one guy got stung by a lion fish. He actually speared two! This team is all about spearing fish.

I am glad it's almost the weekend! It was a good day though. My favorite thing about today was watching Micah dance and clap everytime he heard the Gilmore Girls theme song come on the TV! He's so cute! Wherever he is when he hears it, he stops and goes to the TV and dances!

Tonight was the last night of the classes for Church History that Ryan is teaching now. He made a Jeopardy game for review that was very fun!

Ryan just drank maple syrup out of the jar..............I think I am going to throw up now.

Other than that little insident, today was a pretty good day, pretty normal, and Alicia and the kids came over tonight while class was going on so that was fun. I'm so tired now, I'm going to bed. We have been staying up so late this week and I have to wake up eraly every morning to get Micah while Ryan studies. Goodnight...

I am considering moving! Not really, but I am just having trouble with the bugs again! This time there is a plague of little bugs with huge wings! And some of them are crawling, and they lose their wings and leave them on my floor!!!! I have spent the evening sucking them up with the vacuum and taping the door shut.

On the plus side, it rained all day so hopefully our cistern is filling up. It was a nice rainy day.
I started this week to tutor a little boy, Wayne, a few times a week. It's fun! We're working on the ABCs and 123s right now, preparing him for Kindergarten.

Tonight I finished our guest room and set myself up a table in here that can be my own space.

Ryan is doing a great job teaching Church History this week!

Today was such a wonderful day! Church was great this morning. We went to Global Outreach Church here in our settlement. Then after church i got a nap and we headed to the beach to have a cookout with a bunch of friends. Wade and Tammy made chicken, fish, pork chops, and fresh lobster and we had all the best Bahamian fixins! Micah had tons of fun playing in the sand! He walked all along the beach and of course wanted to eat all the sea shells and little pine balls. And tonight our friend Abe came over with a few visitors and we watched the shuttle launch. It was sooo cool! We could see it very well and then it left a bright cloud all lit up in the night sky. It was very pretty! Now we're watching Gilmore Girls and enjoying the last of rest before the week begins again.

Nothing out of the ordinary happened today. I was sleepy and I actually took two naps and slept in a little. It was great! Ryan taught class tonight, Church History, and he came back really excited about it, so that's fun!

So Micah just somehow successfully deleted the default printer off of my computer..........
He is his daddy's boy for sure!!!

Also, he new cute thing is that he has been brining me all of his toys, or anything else he finds to show me. When I accidentally leave the remotes where he can reach them he's sooooo happy and brings the remote right over to me. When that happens I let him play with it, because he's just so excited! It's very cute! I love it when he brings me his treasures to show off.

Today I picked up a bowl in our cabinet and there was a scorpion in it!!!!! Scary!

Micah learned to wave today! I have been trying to teach him but until today he never has. It's so precious though! I'm so proud of him!

Other than that he and I didn't do a lot today. We rested as much as possible, and then the team came over tonight for dinner and we watched Kung Fu Panda. I am not looking forward to "Springing Forward" tonight!

I'm so bad at writing journals everyday! This week has been fun though! There is a Cedarville team here and tey are from the organization that Ryan was in when we went there, OPE. They are a good team. They are working in the south part of the island and the past two days they have officiated the all island track meet for the highschool. My and Micah got to go one day. I took a few girls from my Bible Study, and we had fun! I am now, however, sunburned. I have to say though that it's nice to have some sun! We have been having the team to our house a few times too in the evenings to hang out, which has been fun too!

Micah is walking like crazy, and this week he learned to hug. It's soooo fun! He gives us big huge hugs! He runs to us arms wide open! And he played a game where he hugs and then does something else for a few seconds, then dives right into our arms again, over and over again! He's just the best baby! I am trying to teach him to wave, but so far he's not getting it.

Ryan is teaching a Church History class next week, so he's been studying lot for that. He loves Church History and I know he'll do great, but he's stressed about it. It's a lot to teach! Try cramming the history from Christ to now into two weeks!

It's been cold here, sweatshirt weather, which I like! It's wierd to wear shorts and sweats in the same day!
