What a wonderful day! School went well today, and after school I went up to Frisco to meet Ryan and we went to register for baby stuff! Now, this wasn't Ryan's favorite thing to do, but he sure was a trooper. It was very fun! Then we stopped by Olive Garden for salad and breadsticks, and had a dinner date. We sat and talked for a while, so wonderful! And tonight is a special night in Dallas because the Cowboys are playing the Packers here tonight! Ryan is having lots of fun just knowing that the Packers, a little bit of home, are in town. Right now they are losing, but there's still hope! It just has been a wonderful day that the Lord has given us!

Today was a tiring day! For some reason I was so tired all day! It was a pretty normal day though. School went well and I came home and cleaned our room. I love to turn off all the lights in the house and look at the Christmas tree all lit up. It's so beautiful!
It's now time for bed, hopefully. I need a good night's sleep!

Today was a sad day and a fun day all in one. My parents left this morning, so that was sad. I miss them already. And unfortunatly they had rough weather on the way home and it took them all day to get home. But they are home now.
In Kindergarten today we decorated the room for Christmas. It was very fun! We put up a tree and lots of decorations. I love watching the kids put bulbs on the tree! THey have so much fun! This afternoon I was so very tired, and when I got home I slept for 3 and a half hours! Then there was lots of cleaning to do. So I have been busy today! Back into the swing of things I suppose! It was fun to tell people from school that I am having a boy!

One month until Christmas! I love the Christmas season! I love Christmas music, and we put up out little tree and it's just so beautiful! I love to look at it! Yesterday was a good day. We spent the day again with my parents. In the morning my dad and Ryan went with our friend to help the man we've been halping clean out his house, and then in the afternoon we decorated for Christmas and played Cranium and Poker with Matt and Sukey. The girls won again! And Ryan won Poker! If it was real money we'd be rich! Too bad it's not =) Last night we went to a steakhouse called SaltGrass, and it was yuuuuuummmy! Then we came back and all watched Shrek 3.
Today was a great day too! This morning Ryan and I sang for the first time together in church for the offeratory. I was a little nervous, but it was very fun singing with Ryan, and the Lord gave me peace and joy as I sang to Him. This afternoon we went to dinner and to the mall to watch a movie, "August Rush." It was a very good movie. Ryan especially liked it a lot.
It's sad that mom and dad are leaving tomorrow. We have had such a good week with them here! I love having family here, and I always miss them when they're gone. I suppose normal life goes on tomorrow. But we have Christmas to look forward to to see family again!

November 22, 2007 Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving! It was a wonderful day! My mom and dad are here visiting. They arrived Tuesday night and yesterday we spent the day together. And, yesterday at our doctors appointment we found out we're having a boy! It was fun to see the sonogram. His little fingers and toes were all there moving around! It was fun to have mom and dad there when we found out it was a boy.
Today we had Thanksgiving dinner together, and we watched some of the Macy's THanksgiving Day Parade, which is a favorite tradition of mine. The dinner turned out great! Ryan made a turkey and mom and I made the rest. The pies even turned out great! And, the best of all.....it snowed today! It was a Thanksgiving Day MIRACLE! I'm talking BIG snowflakes too! Not wimpy ones! It was beautiful! We dno't see snow very often here in Dallas, I miss it, and when it does snow I am so very excited!
It has been a wonderful holiday with my family here. The Lord sure has blessed us! We have so very much to be thankful for!

Today I have been sick all day =( It's not fun. But Ryan has been taking good care of me. He made me soup and tea and tucked me in with a movie tonight. I hate being sick because I want the baby to be ok, so you can pray that I get better and that the baby will be okay.
This morning Ryan and some of our other friends went to help a man that we know clean his house. We are slowly making our way through the house. We work on Saturdays for a few hours in the mornings, and with 8-10 people we still only get a room done at a time. I pray though that somehow our helping and having a relationship with him will show him how much the Lord loves him, you can be praying for him too.

School today was easy. I like days like that. It's the day before break, so doing much academically is wasting time. I gave a few tests and we watched the Prince of Egypt, but other than that we didn't doa whole lot. We celebrated Thanksgiving with turkey cookies that one of my students brought in, which was fun too.
Our church is looking to hire a new Music Minister, so tonight we went out to eat with the staff to meet him and his wife. We had a wonderful time! They seem like a really great couple! My problem was that my nose ran the whole way through dinner! I'm not sure if I'm getting a cold like Ryan had (he's feeling better by the way) or if it's just my normal pregnancy runny nose, but my throat hurts too which isn't too good. I did enjoy my steak though at dinner! Pray that I don't get sick. I'm scared to get sick. I don't want to take any medicine with the baby.

Today did NOT start out well. I thought that I wouldn't cry like I did in my first trimester anymore, well, it turns out that wasn't true. On my way to work this morning I was speeding (in my defense, I didn't know that I was) and I got puller over by a cop. Bad day for the cop to pull over a pregnant woman! I felt sorry for him, I started crying so hard I couldn't even talk! I was just sobbing! He was very nice though. He said "It's ok, you don't have to cry." I just couldn't even form words though. I did manage to get out that I normally wouldn't be crying like this but I'm pregnant, and I got out half of where I was going...I now work at Canyon Creeeeeee (followed by more sobbing) Anyways, like I said, he was very nice and didn't give me a ticket, but that started a rollercaoster of crying about everything thoughout the morning. When I got to school and managed to pull myself together in the parking lot, when I got into my room my computer wouldn't start, thus starting another tear jerker, then I poured cold water into my hot chocolate instead of hot water, and again came the tears, and my shoe fell off on the way upstairs, and again, tears, this time a poor kid picked up my shoe for me and I'm sure thought I was crazy. The morning pretty much ran like that, but the afternoon got much better and the day ended well. We had our Apple Party at school, and I had lots of wonderful parents to help, and things went well. THen we had small group tonight and that's always a good point in my week. We have been going through the book "THe Principles of Spiritual Growth." Ryan is teaching it. It's an indepth book, and not the easiest to read, but let me tell you, it's well worth reading. I read it a few years ago and I learned so much.
Well, kinda a crazy day, but the Lord took a bad day and turned it into a good one.

Today was a good day. I felt good and wasn't even tired! My kids in school were good too. It's so much funner when they're good! Ryan is still stuffy and runny-nosed. His poor little nose is red. It's very cute! He did get the day off today though to rest and he got some work done on a video that he's making, so that was fun, and tonight we got breadsticks for dinner (finally - I have been craving breadsticks for weeks now! Now if I can only get some chocolate chip ice cream.........)

So far November is flying by, but at the same time last week seemed to take forever. Sunday in church a man named Robert Rogers spoke. He lost his whole fammily in a flash flood, and it was very challenging to see his faith and hope. He was very encouraging, and he challenged us to live a life of no regrets, because you never know when it all could be swept away. Despite Ryan's super busy week last week, we spent extra time together. He took me out on a date to the Cheesecake Factory, and we spent the day Sunday together after church. It's good to be reminded of how fragile life is. It makes you apprecaite the ones you love more take advantage of opportunities to love one another. You can always make more money, but you can't always make more memories, once you lost the chance, you can't get it back. So anyways, that's what I have been learning this week.
Pray for Ryan, he's been sick all weekend and still is. One blessing for him is that he has the week off of school, so he can sleep a little more and get some work done at home.
School for me this week is super busy! But it's fun. We're doing lots of Thanksgiving activities and activities with apples. We have an Apple Party on Thursday. Parties are always fun but a little (or a lot) crazy!

Well, so far this month I have been slacking in the journal writing area. I seem to have hit my third trimester tiredness early. This week I have been super tired! Last night I went to bed before 7:00 and slept all night. I was sick with a bit of a cold this weekend too I think and I stayed home all day SUnday trying to rest. Ryan is now fighting off something, I think what I was this weekend, and maybe still am and that could be why I'm sleepy, who knows.
I am excited that it's November though, and that it's a little coolers and the mornings are now light. It's nice to drive to work in the daylight.
Saturday we helped our friends move into thrie new home. What an exciting time for them! I look forward to the day we can move into a house. It's a lot of work though! I felt like I didn't help very much because I couldn't lift anything, but it was fun to be there anyways.
It seems like poor Ryan has been working nonstop the past few weeks. He has been so busy without a day off. He even had to work on Saturday after spending the day moving our friends' stuff into their house. I am praying that Thanksgiving will be a little bit of a break for him and that he will get some rest and relaxation. Ok, well, that pretty much catches you up on things.
My plan for the rest of the day is to go home from school and sleep!
