It's been such a great week! On Saturday we flew to Ohio! Our flghts went well, except for one time when the guy in front of me yelled at me because Micah was kicking the chair. It's been so great to be here with my family! We have been busy the whole time we've been here. We spoke in church Sunday, and Ryan spoke to our church staff in their meeting this week and we spoke Wednesday night and Tuesday night we went to the small group leaders meeting. We had so much fun at the small group meeting! It was refreshing and encouraging for us! We miss our small group in Dallas so much and it was nice to be back in that environment again!
We have gotten to spend a lot of time with my family too. jeremy and Katiera and the kids came over a lot. It's so fun to watch them play with Micah. Micah lves to play wth the cars here! When Micah first saw Honey, the dog, he laughed and laughed! It was great! We have done lots of shopping too, and Ryan had an appointment to check his heart. They were very encouraging and said that actually his heart has improved since before. That's a huge praise!
This morning I went to Erica's house and had breakfast with her and her husband. I miss her a lot and it was fun to see her if even for a little bit.
I got to hang out with Stephanie this week too, and she cut and dyed my hair. It was fun for Micah to play with her kids too! And Sunday night we had a party for a bunch of friends at Jeremy's house. It was so cool to have all of our kids running around! It's wierd to think that we're all grown up with kids now!
So today was a long day...this afternoon we were supposed to fly to Wisconsin, but instead were staying the night in a hotel in Columbus. Our flight was cancelled because of the snow. On the plus side, we got to go to dinner with my mom and dad, but it's sad that we're not to Wisconsin yet. Right now it's way past Micah's bedtime and he's just bouncing and bouncing in his pack and play in our room! He's so happy!
It's been such a great week! The Lord has just blessed us so abundantly! I love being here and seeing family and friends! I do have to say though that I could use a day to rest!

Today was a super busy day! I drove all around running errands, and had to drive to Governors Harbor twice because I sent something to the wrong place! And, on my way to Gregory Town there was a cow and a warthog in the street!!! Who knew there were even wart hogs here? I think I have seen less than 10 cows on the island ever! It was funny!
We were busy tonight packing and cleaning and getting ready to leave tomorrow. We're very excited!
I also went to the Christmas party that they were having at the school I volunteer at.
I'm tired.......I'm going to bed!

Today was a good day (except for the fire ants that were biting me!)
We went to church this morning at a church that a couple of the students from the training center attend. Their church meets in a tent each week, and it was a really encourging service. Of course again I didn't actually get to sit through the service because they don't have nurseries here, but the worship time was refreshing.
And fun fun news!!! On October 22 I planted two plants, and one of them has sprouts finally! I had given up hope! It's so fun though! THe one that sprouted is the sugar apple tree! Sugar apples are nothing like normal apples at all, but they're very sweet and very yummy! I hope it grows into a tree!
Tonight we had dinner with Dave Thompson, who is the person who had the vision for the training center years ago. It was encouraging to talk to him! He is teaching the class that is going on right now.

Today we went on an adventure! I got to climb on the cliffs! It was very fun! There are cliffs here that are so beautiful! I am sure that there is treasure hidden there somewhere! It would be a perfect place for pirates to hide treasure!
Ryan went tonight up north to have a meeting with some of the graduates of the training center too. He said it went really good! And, we got some Christmas shopping done online! What a good day!

It's been a pretty good day! I got a nap today, hooray! And Ryan and I went to the grocery store and bought a few groceries. We're not buying too many this week and next because we're saving up our money to go on a date when we get back to the US! I'm very excited about that!
It's funny, the other day when I was driving there were 5 cars in a row and I thought, "wow, it's so busy today!" Then I thought how funny it is that I think that 5 cars is so busy!
The weather today was beautiful! It was only in the 60s this monring and right now actually too!
I tried again giving Micah some finger foods, the kind that melt in your mouth. I tried a while ago and he choked so I didn't want to try again, but today I tried and he did better! I am going to give him a few everyday for practice. I am still afraid he'll choke! Along those lines, we're praying for the Foxes son, Tristan tonight. He has a temp over 105! It's really scary here to be sick, or worse, have a sick child! Tristan is only 2. Poor little guy!
Today Ryan wanted me to learn how to make Bahamian tunafish sandwiches, which they eat for breakfast (which grosses me out!) So I asked at the store and attempted to make this afternoon.

Today was a good day! I woke up early, and Micah and I went to Governor's Harbor to run some errands. Then when we came back I put him down for a nap (he never slept though) and I had a peaceful time! I got to read my Bible and enjoy our Christmas tree. It was wonderful! Ryan slept late because he wasn't feeling too well. A lot of people have been getting sick. Tonight Ryan went to the training and I ended up staying home instead of having Bible study becasue poor Micah was falling apart tired and hungry at the same as I was supposed to pick up my girls. It was sad to miss Bible study but my poor baby needed sleep so badly.
So I ended up scrapbooking tonight instead, which I had fun doing!

It's December finally! Our Christmas tree is up in our living room and I just love listening to Christmas music! It's just such a wonderful time of year!
Today classes started again at the Training Center, and Alicia and I hung out here tonight with the kids. We watched "The Santa Claus." It has been raining all day today, really hard too! It's also been super humid! I like the rain though, and it's windy also, so I pretend that it's blustery and cold outside. I pretend that it's good weather for hot chocolate =)
