Tonight was a fun night! After work I went up to Frisco to see Ryan, and then I shopped for a few baby things! Then I was supposed to meet some friends at a Chilis, and after I was there for 20 minutes and nobody else showed up, I figured out that I was at the wrong Chilis! So I went and met them, and we had a fun girls' night. We were going to go to a movie, but we ended up going to Tom Thumb for desserts after dinner instead because we were going to be late for the movie. I think girls' nights are important! We should have more!

Today again I was super tired after work, but today I came home and took a nap! How wonderful naps are! Tonight Ryan played basketball too in Dallas and they won! Ryan did very well and their team beat the others by like 30 points! It was a fun game to watch.

This morning we had a doctor's appointment, so I got to sleep in a little. The appointment went well, and it ended early, so I got to go with Ryan to Chick-fil-A for breakfast. It was a fun little date! What a great start to my day! I think we shouldn't start school until 11:30 every day!

Then school in the afternoon was pretty easy. I came home so very tired today though, but for some reason I couldn't sleep! So I cleaned and did the laundry, and worked on more support stuff!

Today was a very good, and bad day. Our day actually started at 3:00 a.m., when a car ran into something outside our apartment. The fog was so thick you couldn't see anything! We heard it crash though and could see the flashing lights, and the police came soon after that, and the whole thing lasted until around 5:00. We were up though Because for some reason I couldn't breath all night, and Ryan stayed up with me to make sure I was okay. In the morning it was too foggy to drive so early to church, so we actually didn't make it to church until later. But today Ryan preached at church and he did an awesome job! That was the good part of the day! And we got to go to lunch with our friends Jon and Jamie, so that was another good part of the day! The whole time though I still couldn't breath well, although it was a little better when I was up and moving around. Anyways, I called the doctor, and she said I should go tot he hospital because if I can't breath it's not good for the baby, so we went to the hospital and they gave me a breathing treatment and monitored me for a few hours until I was better. Another thing that was interesting today is that some guys came up to Ryan and said they were from a modeling agency and wanted to know if he wanted to look into being a model! While he didn't have to think twice, it made for a fun story! So today was a little out of the ordinary, but hopefully tonight will bring a good night's sleep!

Today was a very productive day. First we slept in! Then Ryan and I worked on things we needed to get done to start our support raising. I wrote lots of addresses, and Ryan finally finished his video he's been working on.

Today was a pretty good day. Tonight Matt and Sukey had us and our friends Roger and Jordan over for dinner, and then we played Farkle and another dice game. Ryan also made up a brand new game called "The Magnificent." We had a fun evening!

Ryan's sick. He's got a sore throat and a cold. So that's not too fun for him. You can pray for him. Today I started cleaning and organizing things. I suppose it's nesting. So somehow have to make room in our little apartment for a baby! I'm not sure how it's gonna happen! But tonight I cleaned off two book shelves and combined them. When I was cleaning tonight Ryan and I smelled smoke, and we went out in the hallway and it was all smokey, so much that all our neighbors came out too and we were all looking for the sorce. Ryan was carrying around a fire extinguisher with him. Well, after about 10 mintues we found that it was our neighbor who burnt toast! So that was the excitement for the evening! It was funny. I'm glad there was no fire.

Today I was so very sleepy! I had a headache for most of the morning, and when I got home from school I slept for a while. The evening wasn't too bad though. Ryan worked on the video he's making most of the evening (accept for when he sneaked icing from the cupboard and ate it until his tummy hurt!)

Today Mom and Dad Flunker left around noon. Before they left we had bruch at Dennys. It was sad when they left, but we sure did have a great time with them here! I slept for a long time after they left, and then I went to the gym with Sukey and I went swimming. Then Matt and Sukey came over for dinner tonight.

Ryan's parents got us a stroller for the baby, and it's currently in our living room. A couple times a day Ryan goes over and pushes it around and lifts the car seat out and plays with it. I think it's so cute. We don't even have a baby yet and he pushes it around all the time! It makes me smile! I can't wait until there's a real baby in there!

Today was a very special day! Thismorning the whole family went to church, and then Ryan and I went to a church that we love, Primera Igesia, a Spanish church in Frisco. Ryan preached (an hour and a half sermon) through a translater. He did a great job preaching on how we should be living in light of our destination. We love visiting that church. The people feel like family, and they always welcome us with open arms! It's always a blessing!

We went to LaHacienda for lunch and everyone split a pecan pie for dessert, which was the highlight of the afternoon!

Tonight was the most special night! Ryan got ordained tonight at church, and I have to day it was a wonderful time that I won't forget. Before the service we went before the ordination board and Ryan answered questions. I got asked a few too. It was so great to have our friends and family at the service! Along with our family, members of our small group, and Matt, Sukey, and our friend Jonas came! THere were also such wonderful church members there. It meant so much to have everyone there! Along with Ryan a friend of ours, Jeff got ordained. They both gave their testimonies, and we sang songs. Ryan chose Great is Thy Faithfulness to sing. I walked down the isle at our wedding to that song. And those who had been ordained before all prayed over Ryan and I. It was a very humbling experience. I can't even tell you how Faithful the Lord has been to us! We are so blessed to be able to serve Him!

Well, after the service the Packers played, and I won't write much about that...it wasn't good....
The day though was such a good day, one that I won't forget! I'm so proud of Ryan!

Today was a fun day! We went to the Dallas World Aquarium! It's such a fun place! My favorite animals to see are the manitees and the sharks! And also the marmoset, which is very cute! FOr lunch we went to Chipotle and we were all stuffed after that! After that everyone was tired, and we took naps, then Ryan's mom and I went to Babies R Us and she bought baby Micah some organic stuff. It was fun to spend time with her! Tonight we spent just relaxing, and Ryan worked on his sermon for tomorrow. Tomorrow is a big day!

Today Ryan's mom and dad got here! It was a rough morning, I had to work and it just wasn't very good, but then when I got home and my Father-in-law was there that brightened my day! We spent a couple hours flying toy helicopers (mostly Ryan and his dad did!) and then we went to pick up my Mother-in-law at the airport! It sure is fun to have them both here!

Today was a good and bad day. Thisafternoon I was so very cranky! I was just in a bad mood, and then we were late for small group and paid way too much for pizza for dinner, and it just wasn't good.

But then.....Baby was kicking a really lot tonight, and for the first time we got to see him kick from the outside! It was very fun! I just sat there watching for a long time, and I wish I could take a picture of Ryan's face when he saw! So that made my day!

Then on the way home from small group, we passed an IHOP, and it was on fire! It was very sad. We decided that it should have been Hooters that burned down, not IHOP. IHOP is such a inosent happy place! So that was sad.

But seeing the baby kick made the day good!

Today was an okay day. I got to go up to Frisco after work and have dinner with Ryan, so that was the highlight of my day! This time the Packers weren't playing so we got more talking in =) It was kinda a rough day for Ryan, so it was good to spend the evening together.

I have come to the conclusion that I'm going to be in trouble if the baby grows any bigger. I'm thinking that the baby's big enough! I don't think it's going to come out if it gets any bigger, and there's no more room to grow in my belly!

Today was probably the best day of school since I got back from Christmas break. I wasn't as sleepy today, I think that helped. And tonight I got lots of cleaning and laundry and organizing done, so I feel a little more caught up with life.

This weekend has been a football weekend for us. I am blessed to be married to a man who isn't obsessed with sports, but he LOVES the Packers. We (I) made the mistake of making Saturday date day. The Packers were playing, and we don't have a TV at home, so any time Ryan gets to see the Packers he loves it. Well, it didn't make for very interesting date conversation at the restraunt, but I enjoyed seeing Ryan be so happy watching the Packers at least. Then today the Cowboys played, and we were at church, so we watched the game. On the way home we got into an arguement about Tony Romo's bottom. It was very funny actually.

Saturday Ryan also did a funeral at church, and today I had an open house at school, so it's been a busy weekend for us.

The baby was kicking a lot today, and Ryan got to feel him kicking. That was fun! Friday I had a sonogram again because I hadn't felt as much kicking that day, so at my appointment they decided they would just check to make sure. Everything was fine and the baby was moving all around, and opening and closing his mouth. And it's still a boy, which is good too.

Today was my first day back at school. I need another vacation! Maybe just a day off to rest at least! I was tired today! It was fun to see my kids though. Tonight I had every intention of cleaning and unpacking, which I did a lot of, but there is still so much more to do. And last night Ryan’s heart or something was acting weird again, so he went to the doctor today, and the doctor gave him some medicine for high blood pressure. Hopefully if he lowers it his heart will be better, and if not, he’ll have to go to a cardiologist, so pray that he doesn’t have to do that.

I flew back to Dallas today, and it was great to see Ryan! It was hard to leave my family though. I miss them so very much! My flights went well, and when we got home we took long naps! The bad thing is that now we have a lot of unpacking to do, I hate unpacking!

Today was my baby shower at church! It was very fun! Lots of friends and family were there! It’s fun to have lots of my friends who are pregnant now too! This morning I went to breakfast with my roommate from college, Erica, who I am so glad moved to Akron! Thank you to my mom, Katiera, and Erica, who worked so hard putting the baby shower together! It was very special! Baby Micah sure will have a lot of nice things, but more than that, he will be loved by so many wonderful people!

Today I got to spend some time with my friend Stephanie. It’s so good to be home and be able to see friends! Tonight I went with my family to some meetings that they had. It was a long night! It was good to spend time with them though today! I love being able to see Maggie and Noah!

Ryan left for home today, and I went shopping for a while with my parents for the baby shower Saturday, then I took a long nap! I needed it! And tonight I went out with my cousin Alexis, who’s also having a baby! It was fun to be able to talk to her about pregnancy and catch up on life!

We’re back home in Ohio! It was fun to get home finally. Jeremy and Katiera and the kids are here too. We had our Christmas today. This year we drew names. Mom got my name, and she got me baby scrapbooking stuff, and a book about babies and kids, which I’m sure I’ll use a lot! Ryan got a video game from Katiera. And Maggie and Noah (who are so very cute!) got tons of presents! It was fun to watch them open them all. We had dinner of pork and sauerkraut, the usual New Years dinner, and grandma and Aunt Debbie came over too.

Then tonight Ryan and I spoke in Pastor Bob’s class at church about our missions stuff, and then we presented everything to the board. It was so fun to share what the Lord is doing on our lives, and it’s great to have my home church be a part of it! We’re very excited about it!

Well, we spent our first day of 2008 on the road on the way back to Ohio. It was sad to say goodbye. And it was a long drive back. Actually, we are staying tonight in a hotel because there is tons of snow and we couldn’t even see the road! We have been driving for over 12 hours, and we’re tired! Tomorrow morning we’ll go the rest of the way to my parents house. For tonight, we’re going to rest, and hopefully get some much needed sleep.
