Well, it's been a busy week and I haven't had the chance to write a whole lot. It's been a really good week though. We have had visitors! It was so good to see Ryan's dad when he flew through Dallas. We only got to see him for a few short minutes, but it was very worth it!
The bad thing about this week was that there has been more traffic for some reason, and we spent a few extra hours in the car in it! It was raining today on the way home from work, and Dallas drivers go about 5 miles an hour in the rain. It drives me nuts!
But something that made me very happy today....for those of you who don't know, I love and collect kids' books! Being a teacher, I get a lot of free ones, and today our book orders came in and I got some really fun books! So that made my day!

The week is coming to a close, slowly. It's been a good week though. In Kindergarten we are reading The Tales of Peter Rabbit. It's quite fun to read, and my kids love it! It's funny how the original copyright was from 1902, and some of the words they used then are not so good now, like "The old rat watched her and took snuff." There are so many things in the book that even I have no idea what they are talking about, like what exactly is a "groat" and a "pinny?"
Sometimes I finish reading a sentence and look at my kindergarteners and even though I had no idea what the sentence was about, they still look amazed and totally into the story. It's very fun!
I got two hours of break today! That never happens, but it's very nice!
And it started out as a rainy day, which made Ryan happy, and it's ended as a sunny day, which makes me happy, so it's been a pretty good day!

I hope you all had a great Easter! We wished we could have been with family for the holiday. We were blessed though to be invited to a family's house from church for dinner on Sunday. We had a great time!
The week seems to be flying by! All day today I thought it was Monday.
It's nice to know that the week is almost over!
Also for those of you who don't know, we're going to Eleuthera in the beginning of May. Please be praying for our trip. We are attending the graduation of the pastors that have been taking classes at the training center the last two years. Graduation is a special time for us, and we will get to see a lot of friends. Ryan is hoping to teach classes at the training center when we move there, so we're excited to see the progress!

We have had a great weekend off so far! Yesterday and today we had off of work and school. It's very nice! Yesterday we blew out eggs and colored them, it was very fun! And we got to go for a walk. Walks in the city aren't the same, but it's still wonderful to just walk and talk together.
And, our good news, we got new sheets! I know that to normal people this is not a big deal, but ever since we got married we never can sleep good, and I think that part of it is because of our sheets! So we went and got comfy sheets, and we slept good Thursday night and Friday night! It's great! I'm pretty excited about that!
We have our big Easter service tomorrow at church. We're excited about it.
Pray that all of the video and sound works well tomorrow. We're still getting used to things in the new building. It will be a great day to celebrate the Lord's ressurection! Happy Easter to all of you!

Today was a busy day, and so good! We had an Easter party in Kindergarten!
We had an Easter egg hunt, and did a craft, and read a story, and we did some other fun things. It was very exciting! And I got to pley on the playground with my kids, we slid down every slide! They love it when I play with them on the playground, I love it too! It's so fun! It was a warm sunny day!
Tonight Ryan and I got to go on a date! We went to see Ice Age 2! It was a very funny movie! I didn't really like that fact that there were some cuss words in it, and it's a kids movie. That part really bugs me, but the rest of the movie was good. We had fun spending time together!
Tonight we're at church still, it's 11:30, Ryan's working on the lighting to get it ready for Sunday. Both of us have Friday off though!
And, I got to talk to my friend, and college roommate, Erica, today. It's always encouraging to talk to her!
Also, be praying for me to find a summer job. I applied at Chick-fil-a this week, and I might work there, but I'm gonna think it through some more and see if there is anything that I might like better.

Today was a great day! Kindergarten was pretty easy today. We did testing for most of the morning, and we are working on our Graduation program. It's so fun to hear the kids sing all the songs, especially the Lord's Prayer song. It's so sweet!
I got to talk to my mom tonight. That was really fun! I love to talk to my family!
I just finished studying Hebrew with Ryan, which is not one of my favorite things to do, I'll admit, but I love to help him however I can, and it makes me appreciate all that he does. Hebrew is pretty hard! I'm learning some though!

Today was a pretty normal day for us, besides that Ryan had the day off. He spent his day studying. We're going to color Easter Eggs sometime this week. I am very excited about that. It will be our first Easter together!
If anyone would like to send us an Easter basket, that would be fun! I was thinking it will probably be sad to not get baskets.

Wow, it's been a busy week for us! We weren't home a whole lot. Monday we camped up in Frisco, Wednesday night Ryan spent the night up there, and Friday and Saturday nights we spent the nights up there too. Thursday was small group night, and we were there until 10:30, so we should have probably stayed there all night then too. We came home Thursday night only long enough to sleep, about 6 hours. Each day and night Ryan worked super hard getting ready to move into our new church building. This morning it was ready, and we had a great service in there! There were tons of people, and almost everything ran smoothly. God really worked things out just in time, and He was glorified through it all I think!
This week in Kindergarten has been super busy too. We're getting ready for the end of the year, and we had early dissmissal on Friday, which was nice.
The kids left at 11:00 which gave me tons of time to plan things and get work done.
We're tired, pretty much exhausted, now. The week has worn us out. Ryan hasn't shaved in days. He has the day off tomorrow though to study, praise the Lord! Pray for him, he has a big test coming up, in Hebrew I think, and with this past week being so busy he hasn't had time to study at all.
Please also pray that we can get the ball rolling with raising support. We haven't had time to talk about it or even think about it this week, so this coming week we'll hopefully slow down and think it over and start the process. We sure are excited about joining CMA! Everyone here is rejoicing with us!

Happy Birthday to Jeremy, my brother! Today is his birthday, so send him a Happy Birthday greeting!
Well, last night we went camping! That's right, we went camping on a
school night! It was so much fun! We went in our new truck tent that we got for Christmas. We stayed up in Frisco at a little campsite. It was a beautiful night! We actually got to see stars! There was no wind, and we stayed warm. It was really fun!
And today, as you have already probably read (or will read as the case may be that Ryan hasn't posted the blog yet), we got our acceptance letter from the Carribean Ministries Association! We're now officially missionaries on staff with them! We're so very excited! The Lord has blessed us so very much!

The weekend is almost over already! Friday was zoo day in Kindergarten! We went to the Dallas zoo! It was a great day! The trip went smoothly, and it was lot of fun! My favorite animals to see were the giraffes, the elephants, and the monkeys! I decided that if I could be any animal, I'd be a monkey! They look like they have so much fun!
Friday night there was a Cedarville event in Dallas and we got to see tons of Cedarville friends that we haven't seen in a while! And we got to enjoy a lovely dinner!
Saturday Ryan took the day off. It's his first day off in forever!! It was much deserved! He has been working so hard this year, and with school and work, he has no days off, not even weekends. He's always busy with something. But Saturday he took the whole day and relaxed and did things that he wanted to do!
Today has been a busy day! It's also been a great day! Today was our last day worshipping in our church building, next week we will have our first service in the new building! The whole church pitched in today to move everything from one building to the other. It was a big work day, and everyone got t-shirts that Ryan designed! We spent the majority of the day helping with that. It was so amazing to see the body of Christ at work in such a tangible way, all working together as a team to accomplish a goal.
That's how it should be!
Tomorrow starts a huge week for us, especially for Ryan. Please be praying for us as we will have long days and nights getting ready for the first service in the new building Sunday. There is much work still to be done, and we will be spending a few nights camping out up in Frisco to get things done at church.
Well, that's all for now!
