My Birthday! Yeah! It was a great day! I got to talk to my family and friends, AND Ryan threw me a suprise birthday party! It was great! Incase you're wondering, I'm now 24 years old, and no, it doesn't feel any different than it felt to be 23. (Everyone asks me that) I do have to say that my 23rd year of my life was the best yet! God has been so very good to us! Please keep praying for Ryan, he's still sick.

Ryan's nose is runny. It's not so fun for him. I sat in traffic for two hours today in the rain. It was actually quite pleasant, accept for Mr. Ford F150 who cut me off. I wasn't too happy with him. I got over it and enjoyed the rainy drive home though. It's pizza night, which makes me very happy. Pray for Ryan, he has to teach a class Sunday and he's nervous. I know he'll do great thought! He's a great teacher!

Well, Ryan has been sick all day, so I get to take care of him! It turns out he has strep throat. He got some medicine so hopefully he’ll be all better tomorrow!

Two of my Kindergarteners decided today that they were explorers and they found a huge egg! They decided it was either an ostrich egg or an Easter Egg. I didn’t tell them that it was actually a drain pipe. I figure if they become famous treasure hunters, they’ll maybe share their treasure with me someday! Other than that it’s been a pretty normal day! Report cards go out tomorrow in Kindergarten!

This week has gone by so very fast! Monday was my day off, and I got lots of rest. It was wonderful! Please pray for Ryan today. He's sick. I got him lots of soup and tea and medicine.

It is just the beginning and I am already behind in writing my journals. Valentine’s Day was our 1 year anniversary of our engagement! So that was fun! I woke up to a beautiful bouquet of roses, and that evening we went to a banquet at church. It was wonderful! On Valentine’s Day we also had a party in Kindergarten. It was very fun!

Today we had early dismissal at school, so I got home early. It’s nice to have some extra time with Ryan. On the funny side, after the laundry got out of the dryer today, we discovered that the sweater that we washed (that was not supposed to be dried) is now about 3 sizes too small and has shed all over the rest of me clothes. It took a lot of duct tape to get all of the fur off of the other clothes!

I don’t believe that I mentioned yet that I got a ton of chocolate from my class on Tuesday! Well, I came home from school today to discover that a whole box was gone! Ryan is not very good at covering up things sometime. I had to know if he ate it all! So I searched in the trash cans and found the box. He had only eaten a few pieces, but he threw the rest away. I cleverly took the not eaten ones out of the box and hid them, then questioned him later. I asked him if he ate the whole box, and he said “no” and continued to show me the box from the trash can. He opened it, and to his surprise, all of the chocolate was gone! We both had a laugh because he then thought maybe he ate it and he was very confused! Eventually I told him, and boy did I get it! My punishment was getting tickled until I cried for mercy! =)

I just love Saturdays! Today we got to sleep in and wake up to the sunshine instead of an alarm! The Lord is so wonderful to give us Saturdays! For us Saturdays are our day of rest. When I walked outside thismorning the sunshine was so bright! It put me in a wonderful mood as I headed to do some errands.

It looks like the groudhog was right, it definitly feels like winter here today. Ryan spent most of the day in the library, while I got work done around the apartment. I took a litte time to watch Cinderella, which is one of my favorite movies. Tonight we will get to watch Andy Griffeth together! What a great life!

Hi everybody! This is my first time writing on our new webpage and I am very excited to share my thoughts and experiences with you all!

Today was a wonderful day! Incase you don’t know, I teach 16 energetic, bouncy, fantastic Kindergarteners every day! They are so fun! Today we cooked rice krispy treats in class, and it was STICKY! They had marshmallow all over them! It was so fun to watch! Not so fun to clean up though……They keep me on my toes! It’s wonderful to be able to share the love of Christ with them!

Ryan had class today, and tonight we’re babysitting our neighbor's boys! Our life is full of blessings!
