We had to leave and come back to Dallas today. It was very sad to leave my family. We had such a wonderful trip though. I wish it didn't have to end.
The Lord gave us a good trip back home though. Just a layover, but we had a safe flight and we are back home now.

And, I had always wanted to see if I could do a Sudoko puzzle, so I got a book at the airport, and I did it! I was very proud! We had pizza at the airport too, and one of us dropped a little chunk of ham on the floor, and we watch to see if anyone would step on it. It was fun, not too nice of us, but fun. One person squashed it, and then another person stepped on it and I'm pretty sure it's still stuck to their shoe at this moment. Sorry to whoever that person is. We got our luggage and everything worked out.

When we got home, Ryan had a few more presents for me. He bought me a Sea Bean book! I had been wanting the book forever! It's so great! And he got me a beautiful silver locket with a tiny pink jewel inside. He's so great!

Today we got to go to Cedarville! We went to visit a dear friend, Delora.
She has been such a blessing to us, especially in college. The trip brought back many memories. We got to walk around campus too, and we took a picture where Ryan and I met for the first time. We unexpectedly got to see some friends too! At Cedarville we go to see Ryan's sister's roommate from Florida! IT was fun to see Julie, and from there we traveled to Columbus to see a friend of mine from high school, Katie. When we go there we saw two friends from college too, Beth and Paul! It has been really fun to run into people that I haven't seen in a while, and know that the Lord has given us those friends, and even though we don't seeeach other all of the time, our frienships still remain. I got to see my friend from high school, Katie today in COlumbes too! I love getting to see her! We are a lot alike and always have fun together! My parents came with us today, and it was fun to get to spend the day with them. It's been a great trip ! It will be very hard to leave tomorrow!

We talked about how even though we haven't seen each other we picked up and it seemed like we had never been apart. God has blessed me with wonderful friendships! It was great to catch up on everyone's lives. It's fun to see friends who are married and have kids now, We're all grown up!

What a great day we had today! We went out to lunch at Cracker Barrell this afternoon. They don't have those in dallas, so it was a treat! And this afternoon we went to see where Jeremy and Kariera are going to be living and then we went to go see the alpacas. In case you don't know, my mom and dad have an alpaca farm. If you don't know what that is, it's like a llama.

We also went to belgrades, a chicken place, and then we went to meet all of our friends at a place called Jillians. It was so great to see everyone and catch up....like old times again. I miss my friends from here.

It's fun to watch how the Lord directs our lives. My grandma and Aunt Debbie came ove today too. I haven't seen them in a long time either, and it was greta to get to spend time with them. Aunt Susan and Uncle Mike left tongiht, I wish they could have stayed longer. We also got to see my Aunt Barbara's paintings today. There is one of a scene with woods like a hunting scene almost, and Ryan loves it! He misses the outdoors so much! She has some beautiful paintings!

Merry Christmas for real this time! We had great flights to Ohio, and it was so great to get to see my mom and dad and Noah at the airport! I just love Noah and Maggie! They are so very cute! Noah and I played all the way back from the airport, that is once he got over his initial shynes. Now he loves me! My Aunt and Uncle are here too from North Carolina. It's great to see them again! i just love having family all together! It's been a great Christmas! We spent a lot of time opening up the gifts that spread the living room literally. There awas no room to walk in there! And we ate a great dinner and tonight we lpayed Cranium, which I got for Christmas!

The girls won, as they most of the time do. It was just so fun to be with my family and get to play. We missed the Flunkers today. The sad thing about being married is that you can't always be with everyone for the holidays. I love having Ryan with me though. And it's fun to know that him and I are our own family now. It's a wonderful gift from the Lord!

Today was a great day! We had church thismorning, and it didn't start until 11:00, so we got to sleep in! We spent the day up at church, and tonight we had our Christmas Eve servce. Because of the lack of volunteers, I did one of the cameras for the service. It was my first time, and I think I did ok!
It was fun! I was a little nervous though! The Lord helped me though!

One thing I don't like about doing a camera is that I have apsolutely no idea what went on in the service.. no idea what songs were sung or scriptures were read or anything! When youa re busy doing a camera you are focused on what the next shot is all the time, and not what's going on. I like lights much better I think. I missed my family tonight. Every Christmas eve growing up we would go to a chicken place and get chicken. All my family is doing that tonight. I am excited to see them tomorrow!

Merry Christmas! Today we celebrated our Christmas together! We will have real Christmas Monday, but today was our Dallas Christmas! It was the most wonderful day! I made a cassarole thismorning, and we opened presents...good ones! It was great! Ryan got me a vacuum cleaner! It's really great for me, he's the one who sweeps the floor, so it's great! He got me other great presents too! And his parents got us wonderful things too! This afternoon we played with our toys and then we went out to eat to Olive Garden with a gift certificate and then to see "Happy Feet!" It was a great movie! Very fun! It was just a wonderful day! The Lord has blessed us abundantly this Christmas! I can't even begin to tell you the ways that He has provided and blessed us! It blows my mind to think of His unfailing grace and mercy! Ryan and I are undeserving. The Lord is truly Good! Merry Christmas!

Today was a pretty good day! The best part was our Bible study Christmas party tonight! We played a fun game! I had to say the ABCs backwards, and dance. It was very fun!

I also got a lot accomplished today. I got my hair cut, cleaned the apartment, and made lots of goodies! For our party tonight we were assigned to bring food that relates somehow to certain animals. My animal was a rabbit, so i made a huge brownie, cut it in the shape of a carrot, and iced it orange and green and put Christmas sprinkles on it!

So remember yesterday when I had such a good day because it was December 17th? Well, it turns out that TODAY is December 17th! I must be having a really off day! Did you also know that jackalopes are not real?????????????? I never knew this until today. I always thought they were real. I have to admit that I was very disappointed when I was told that they were not. Plus everyone laughed at me. Why has nobody told me this before?

My favorite number is 17! Today was a good day. Ryan got a big paper finished! We both also got to sleep in thismorning, which was great! I got laundry, dishes, a scrapbook page, and shopping done today too! I am reading in Proverbs 31 about a wife of noble character. I am learning a lot!

Right now it's 9:00 at night and it's still 70 degrees! I wish it would be cold and snow! I wore a sweatshirt and jeans today and everyone else was wearing shorts! I refuse to wear shorts. I think maybe it I dress for winter, it will come, but I'm thinking more and more that my plan is not working., Oh well!

Friday finally! Today was a pretty good day! I have had a cold, and the Lord worked it out so that I could go to the doctor and not have to call a sub for part of the day. So hopefully I will be feeling better soon! Today was Ryan's last day of classes, he just has papers and finals to finish next week. Last night we had small group. Our small group is so very great, but we missed some of our friends who couldn't make it.

It's so wonderful to be with friends when you know you can be yourself. I just got a phone call from my roommate from college! She just got engaged tonight! Congradulations to Erica! That is exciting news!

Okay, I am going to watch "Ever After" now and take some Nyquil and fall asleep.

Well, my nose has been running all day, and a little girl in my classroom threw up all over the floor, and another boy cut his shirt all up with his scissors. What a day! I am thankful that this week is going by fast, ans that Christmas is almost here!

Today I received a wonderful blessing in the mail! I opened up a Christmas card to find a gift card from an anonymous person from church thanking me for supporting Ryan in ministry. It was the biggest blessing! God certainly takes care of us! He always provides!

Well, sorry to keep you in the dark the past couple days. We have been busy busy! This past weekend was our Christmas program at church and we spent a lot of time there. I did the lights, which was very scary, but the Lord somehow guided my hands and everything turned out great!

I am counting down the days until Christmas! I just love this time of year! Somehow though being in Dallas it doesn't seem like Christmas. I think it's the 70 degree weather. I still love it though, and I surround myself with Christmas music whenever possible.

Ryan is breathing a little easier now with the Christmas program over too. He took the day off today to do homework. He still has a lot to do though!

Today was a pretty good day. I love this time of year! I get to read Christmas books to my kids every day! And we get to do special Christmas crafts and sing Christmas songs! I still am having a hard time getting my kids to understand that it's better to give than receive though!

Tonight Ryan has to work all night at church. Pray for him, he has the busiest week this week! Our church Christmas program is Sunday and he has hours and hours of work to do for that, plus tons of end of the semester work for school that he has no time to do. He's not going to get much sleep. He's such a hard worker!

Today we ran a booth at Merry mainstreet, which is a big town celebration festival thing in Frisco. Our church passed out hot cider and tickets for our Christmas program. Ryan and I headed up the booth, so we were in Frisco most of the day. We had to get their early to set up everything. It was fun. My favorite part was the fake snow! They had air blowing "snow" from the treetops! It was really soap, but it was great! It made it look like it was really snowing! And there were tons of twinkle lights, which of course I love!

Snow! That is the title of my journal today. It snowed yesterday! Not very much mind you, but people in Dallas make a big deal of a little snow. Actually ,it's kinda nice because we got half the day off of school today! It seems a little silly coming from the north, because it is 50 degrees thisafternoon! I got to sleep in though!
