It's 6:30, and it feels like 9:00! It's messing me up! I feel like it's time for bed!
I had a good day at school today! THings are slowing down and getting back to normal. Normally I love parties and special events, but I have to say that it's nice to have a normal week. My room is clean and things are organized and I'm not rushed and stressed.
The weather is also beautiful! It's breezy and just the right temperature!
And we have the Book Fair at school this week, so it was fun to go look at all of the books!

Today was our Apple PArty at school! We played Apple Bingo, made apple crafts, made caramel and chocolate apples, tasted 9 different kinds of apples, tasted lots of apple dips, and more! It was messy, and crazy, and fun!
Then tonight Ryan and I worked for CHick-fil-a at a YMCA for their Pumpkin Patch night. Ryan got to be the cow, and I got to lead him around and pass out prizes, candy, and coupons!

Today was tropical day in school. It was colorful! Tomorrow is our big Apple Party. Pray that it goes well. I like to be very organized, but I haven't had much time this week to organize it, so we'll see how it goes.
The Lord has a great way of working things out.
Tonight I had Bible study with the girls in the apartment building I live in. It was very encouraging! It's wonderful to meet with those girls!

The Lord sure is faithful! This week has been a challengin one, that's for sure. But He has shown Himself more and more everyday. Please keep praying and keep our church in your prayers.
Today was superhero day at school. What did you think Kindergarteners will do if you put them in superhero costumes and put them all together? You guessed it! All day they were fighting and climbing and jumping, and pulling each other's capes. I have to say that they were very cute and fun though! They were a blessing to me today. What superhero did I dress up as you ask? Well, I didn't feel very superheroey, so I was just Mrs. Flunker, undercover superwoman of course. If I let them know I was really superwoman they would expect me to fly them to class everyday! =)

Think weekend has been, well, there are so many words to describe it that it's hard to pick one. It's been...challenging. Please pray for Ryan and I, our friends, and our church. We have faced challenged this weekend that we hoped we would never have to. The Lord has brought us to our knees and we have spent hours in prayer. There are some people that really need your prayers tonight. Pray for them, please, even though you don't know their names, pray for them. The Lord is Good, we know that and cling to that truth.
We haven't gotten much sleep this weekend, so please pray that we get a good night's sleep tonight. Praise the Lord that Ryan is feeling better from having an upper respitory infection this weekend, and pray for me as I still am a little sick.
We did get to go tonight to a Blue Grass Festival that was very fun! Ryan will put pictures on I'm sure! It was a good for us to be able to laugh and take a break. Some of Ryan's favorites were there - Rhonda Vincent and Ricki Skaggs! Boy was it chilly too! It was outside so we got to wrap in blankets!
Thank you for your prayers. It means so very much to know that we have friends praying for us!

Today was a great day! Well, my cell phone fell into the toilet, but other than that it was a great day! And it still works, so that's a blessing! We had small group tonight and we talked a lot about prayer. Ryan led the discussion and did a great job! We talked about praying through the Psalms, and it reminded me of a Psalm that Ryan and I read a lot, Psalm 103. If you get the chance, you should read it this week!
Praise! Thank you for your prayers, Ryan is sleeping again! For the last couple nights he has been able to sleep. Prayer request though, he's sick now. His throat is really hurting. My gland is swollen, but my throat doesn't hurt like his yet. So please pray that we get and stay healthy.
Next week is Spirit Week at school. I am sure I will have lots of stories!
We are dressing up in different things each day, and we have a party on Friday. It should be fun!

Today was a great day! In school we read "Mud Pie Annie" and we made mud cake! It was very fun! It's a wonderful book! If you haven't read it, you should! It's getting ready to rain here I think any minute, which is wonderful too! I am working on school stuff and then resting tonight. The next four nights are going to be late ones! We have parties lined up for the weekend and tomorrow is small group. Fun!

Well let's see, I just got ran off the road on my way home from work. The good news is that I only almost hit the wall!
And what else, hmmmm, well someone climbed up the drain pipe of Chick-fil-a today while I was working and was stealing copper from the roof, my manager asked him what he was doing, and he ran, we never caught him though and the police didn't get there in time. Good thing he didn't have a gun! The guy actually came in before he did that, and I remember seeing him and feeling a little uneasy for some reason. I guess I know why now! Hopefully they catch him and he doesn't ever try to come back.
Besides my evening, I had a pretty good day though. We talked about being thankful for what we have and not wanting other things today in class, but I don't think they got it because when I was done talking they raised their hands to tell me all about what they want... something there went wrong!
I trust that someday the Lord will help them to remember that lesson though and He will teach them at the right time.
Time for bed... wonderful!

What a wonderful rainy day today has been! It's just been so very great and relaxing for us! Church went great thismorning. We had communion. Then we got to come home after church and rest the rest of the day! We watched Andy Griffith and listened to the rain! And we went to Steak and Shake for lunch for a date! God blesses us so very much!

Today we both worked. Ryan had some things to do at church and I was the hostess for a Chick-fil-a party. I did get to sleep in though! Then tonight we got to go to the State Fair! It was fun! I love walking around and just looking at everything! It's like a major overload for my brain though sometimes with all the lights and sounds and people everywhere and tons of colors!
We went to a sheep dog show, which was the best part! At one point the sheep dog just ran super fast right into the four sheep! It was so very funny! The sheep actually flew and flipped in the air! It was like sheep bowling! Soooo very funny! I don't think the dog was supposed to do that! They put him on a leash right after, which was sad.
We met up with some friends there. It's so fun to do things with friends! At the Fair they have car and truck shows. It was very fun to look around at all the shiny new cars! I'm glad we got to go.

Today was a good day. It was a pretty normal day. I had Bible Study tonight which is always very refreshing. We are studying the attributes of God. Some of the conversations that we had were very interesting. Pray for Ryan because he is still having trouble sleeping. He is going to take a natural sleep aid pill tonight and hopefully it will help him sleep.

I love Wednesdays because I get to go home right after work. It's so nice a thought to know that after work I can go home and rest and be with Ryan for the evening. And today I actually went to class with Ryan when I got home.
They were talking about women in ministry. I am not sure though that I agree with what the professor said. I guess I'll have to look into it more.
And Ryan's Christmas present came in the mail today! The problem was that I am NOT good at keeping secrets! I had to tell him! I got him a Roman coin from the time of Christ. It has Ceasar Augustus and Tiberius Ceasar on it! It's very cool! He loves it, but unfortunatly I have to get him another present now! Maybe I can keep the next one a secret!

Today started out a little rough, but hte day got better and better as it went on. Poor Ryan hadn't been able to sleep for the last 48 hours, so he stayed home and slept today as much as he could. He had gotten to the point where he just couldn't do anything and needed sleep. I got stuck in traffic and was late for my meeting at school this morning, so it didn't start out too good. But it was a beautiful day, and Ryan came and had lunch with me and we went to the park and ate for my break, and it made the day so very much better! The Lord gave us a wonderful day!

Church today was great! The message was on the awesomeness of God. It really did leave me standing in awe of God! They showed pictures of space, and how small the earth is compared to the vastness of it. We're so small!
And we serve such a huge God! It leaves me breathless just thinking about it!
Today we got to go out to eat with our friends after church. It was very fun! We went to Chilies and it was a fun time of fellowship!
We also bought The Little Mermaid today! It's my favorite Disney Movie! It just came out on DVD! I was very excited! So tonight I watched it.
Tonight I also got to talk to my dad and mom! I love talking to them!
Oh, and gas was less than $2.00 today! I can't even remember the last time it was that cheap! How great is that! Another thing to praise God for!

I haven't written a lot this week. It has been a busy week! I have had parent-teacher conferences this week for school. I have so many great parents this year! This week of Kindergarten went great! I got flowers from one of my little girls! It made my day! It's so fun to teach! I have a great school and I wonderful principal!
Today I worked for Chick-fil-a doing a party. Well, actually it ended up being two parties at once, which was a little hard at times, but in the end everyone had a great time and everything went well. Ryan had a lot of school work to do today, so it worked out perfect! Then I came home and we had a late lunch together. We called it a date even though it was just at our apartment at our little table. It was very fun!
I learned a lot this week too. Some parts of it were very challenging for me. It reminded of me of something that someone told me one time - that God's not done with us yet, He's making us more like Him all the time. The thing is, it's not easy sometimes in the journey to become more like Him.
It's like He allows things to come into our lives that "sand" us a little.
I don't know if you have ever accidentally scraped yourself on sandpaper, but let me tell you, it hurts, and when you make something out of wood, it has to be sanded to be perfect. It's like that with us too; we have to be sanded to be grow and be better. This week there were some things that were sandpaper for me, they weren't fun, but through them I grew and I had to make the decision to love and serve and have grace in the situation even when it's hard. And let me tell you, God's teaching me a lot, and even though it's not easy, I'm growing and depending more on the Lord. That's something to remember when people and situations come in your life that are hard and you don't understand, you have to be sanded to be made more like what you are supposed to be.
So praise God even when things aren't great, and love and serve other people, even when it's hard. God gives so very much grace and love to us! He is such a great God!

It's October! That means I get to decorate for Fall! Yesterday I put some things up around the house. Saturday we went to the Arboretum! It was very fun! We went mainly to take pictures of pumpkins. We walked for a really long time taking pictures and just having fun, but no pumpkins! Then finally, at the end, I spotted them...pumpkins! We took lots of pictures!
And they turned out very well! We framed a few for our apartment! It was a very good day! Then we stopped at McDonalds for some ice cream!
Today school went well, but I was very sleepy this morning! I woke up finally.
