Today was very fun! After a long nap this morning for the babies we went to the park. We rode a carosel, a train, and MIcah got to swing on a swing and he loved it!! He had fun with his cousins at the park, and he got to see ducks a turtles too! And for the first time I put shoes on him. He wasn’t sure how to walk in the shoes at first, he picked his feet up really high with each step, it was funny! And cute! And I gave him his second hair cut today too! He’s such a handsome little baby! We’re having fun with my mom and Aunt Susan and Uncle MIke and Katiera and the kids!

Today we went for a walk and the kids played outside for a while. Micah had fun playing with his cousins and riding in a wagon! Tonight though after I put MIcah in bed his grandma, and aunt Susan, got him back out of bed and he went CRAZY! He’s like a tazmanian devil! He’s one crazy little baby! His poor sleep schedule is all messed up!

Today Micah and I traveled to North Carolina! Our flights went well, two of them were short and on the long one Micah screamed for half an hour then went to sleep. When we got here Katiera and the kids picked us up, and took us back to Uncle Mike and Aunt Susan’s, and mom is here! It was a suprise for mom! It’s been a god trip so far!
It’s fun to see family!

What a wonderful day! We had a family day today! We went to the grocery store together, and took naps, and spent the afternoon together, then Ryan took me on a date! It was the BEST date! We went to SKy Beach for dinner and then we took a walk along the beach while a huge BEAUTIFUL storm came in. It was so fun! We made it back to the truck just in time for the rain!

Tag and Peanut Butter are best friends! Tag is so little compared to him though, it’s funny! Tag loves Peanut Butter thoough and kissed him! Our last intern, Marie, came today. We all ate tacos that Shannon made tonight and hung out for a long time. My computer’s going to die if I don’t plug it in now…

Today we went to Rainbow and it was really fun to play with Micah in the water! It was all the girls and Micah! And tonight we played games and watched Take the Lead. I made pizza for all of us and it was good!

I skipped church today. There are no nurseries here and I need a break from church with Micah. So Ryan took his to church and I got some work done aroudn the house. Then we all took really long naps. And went out for cheeseburgers with the interns and the Faszeskis! ( I don’t think that’s how you spell their name)

The Fazseski family arrived today! Yeah! And so did MFI with a lot of groceries including way too much cheese! I spent the day cleaning and putting groceries away. They have a dog, Peanut Butter is his name, and he’s a chocolate lab. It will be interesting to see how Tag gets along with him!

We went to Harbor Island today and it rained the whole way there and on the boat it poured and when we got there we ran for shelter and finally ran to Valentines for lunch. We were drenched! Micah loved it though, and it got sunny after a while and eventually we dried out.
And I went to the doctor a few days ago for some blood tests because a few months ago i was told i had high thyroid levels, so i have been nervous to find out the results, but I talked to the doctor today and he said all the tests came back perfect! Praise the Lord!

It was a fun day today! Ryan took Micah this afternoon adn i got to go with the team to Hidden Beach. We had so much fun playing in the waves, even though I got toppled by one and hit my head on a rock!
Tonight we had VBS and saw a rainbow! And there were dolphins out in front of our house!

so Micah has finally learned how to put things away that he takes out! He takes towel out of a drawer while I wash dishes every time, and this week he put them away too! It’s very cute! And when we were in in his room he took a lego, opened the drawer and put the lego in, and closed the drawer! And when I was washing the dishes one day he picked up a plastic bowl from the floor and threw it in the sink! i was so proud! He’s so very smart!
This week we have been doing a VBS here at the Training Center. Ryan and I are doing music for it, and we’re teaching the kids the ten commandment song. I remember learning that song when I was little for a church program, so it’s fun to teach other kids it now!
Yesterday MIcah and I went to Spanish Wells to the doctor for some blood tests, and spent some time with some friends up there then came back for VBS, and the interns cam eover last nigth and we watched “Taken” which I was very reluctant to watch, but it wasn’t too too scary.

Micah has been keeping me soooooo busy! He learned this week to climb on the couch, and now that’s all he wants to do. He climbs all the way to the top too, and i spend my days chasing him around! Today he said “ball”! He actually called a grapefruit a ball and then threw it on the ground! This week he also started throwing his toys in the trash can!
Today part of the next team arrived, Trey, Terry, and their 3 year old son, Evan. Micah got to play with Tristan and Evan. He had fun! And then Wade and Tammy took him for a ride tonight and then their family came over for a while. Micah is also waving hello and goodbye now, and he tries to say hello and pretends his toys are a phone and holds them to his ear. Oh, and he has (had) a favorite toy steering wheel and today he pulled the steering wheell off the toy!!! Right off!!! It’s not meant to come off!!! He’s one year old and already taking things apart! He’s a climber and a taker-aparter!

Already June! It’s amazing how time flies! I will try to catch up on this week. Ryan has been gone to see Matt and Sukey in PA, so while he was gone Alicia and the kids stayed for a few days, and Katrina, our intern, stayed with me the whole time too. It was nice not to have to stay alone, and to get to spend some time with them!
Micah has been a bundle of energy! He loves to flip through books, and play with Tag. All day today though he has been throwing his toys into the trash can. i am hoping it’s not the start of a phase. I have to search the trash can everytime I take it out. And as i write this he has one of my flip flops in his hand and it will probably be in his mouth by the time I’m done.
It’s so great to have Ryan home! He got home this afternoon, and another intern, Heather, was on his same flight.
That’s pretty much been our week so far.
