So I went out to put a load of laundry in the washer and when i got back Micah was standing on the coffee table!!!!! How did he get up there? And today he climbed onto the couch for the first time! He’s getting so big! He’s a little climber! Tonight Alicia and the kids and Katrina came over and they are staying the night while Ryan’s gone to see our friends Matt and Sukey. I miss him and wish I could be there with them! It’s fun to have the girls stay here though. Tomorrow’s our 4 year anniversary! I have the best husband in the world!
Tag did great today too! He’s learning to go to the bathroom outside. Both Micah and Tag were very well behaved today! And Tag caught his first lizard. The lizard got away safely after being held in Tag’s mouth for a while. I’m pretty sure Tag swallowed his tail though…..

Today Ryan and i went on an anniversary date! It’s a little early, but that’s okay. We went to our cheeseburger place on the cay, and the Lord even provided a good friend who we saw there that paid for our meal! God always provides! We had a great date!

This weekend Ryan and i have crashed. And Micah too! THis past week we had the team here from Grace in SC, and they were an awesome team! Friday we spent the day in SPanish Wells and the team painted a house. While they did that I walked MIcah around and took Tag to get groomed. I went to the grocery store too,and tried to get MIcah to nap at the church in teh afternoon. Ryan and I were talking about how we hate the last day the team is here because by then we become attached to them and they have to leave the next day. This team got a lot accomplished and had great attitudes even though it rained everyday of their trip. We made some good friends!
Saturday after they left Ryan, Micah, and I all slept for over 4 hours! We were exhausted! We rested the rest of the day too, and took today off as well to rest. I have to say though that when you have a baby there is never much rest even on rest days. Poor Tag was sick today too. He threw up all night last night and some today, and he wouldn’t eat or drink anything. Finally tonight I called my mom and she said to give him hamburger and rice, and when I did he seemed to get better! He moved off the couch for the first time all day, and he ate three little plates of the hamburger, and drank water too, then his spirits lifted and he played the rest of the day. We gave Micah spaghetti today. It was very cute! He’s doign great at saying “all done” and raising his hands when he’s done eating!

Micah learned, finally, to raise his arms when he is all done, and once he actually said “all done” too. Before this he would scream when he wanted down. Now he raises his arms then claps for himself. It’s very cute!
Today we went with the team that’s here (from Grace Church in South Carolina) to Lighthouse. It’s been raining all week, which for us has been so nice but not so nice for the team. Micah had fun at the beach and i had fun playing in the waves!

Happy Birthday to the best husband ever! Today I made two pies, bread, and a big dinner for Ryan. I went to Palmetto Point to try to find Pesto which I never found, but I had fun with Micah on the way there. He learned this week how to click with his tounge on the roof of his mouth, and the whole car drive we clicked together. He thought it was funny – so did I =) It was very fun! And I got to meet our new intern, Katrina! I am looking forward to the summer with the interns. Ryan was hoping for a restful day, which he didn’t really get, but this evening he is resting. He’s so wonderful!

Happy Birthday to my nephew Noah! Thismorning I spent three hours at the Hatchet Bay Primary School. All the primary schools got together and had a Spanish program. I was taking pictures and trying to help out and watch Micah at the same time. It was a good program. The kids did a great job! Then after a long nap in the afternoon for Micah, we all went to dinner at our friend Abe’s house for Leia’s last night here. It rained tonight too!

Tonight I went to a going away party for our friend Leia. It’s very sad that she’s going to leave. The party was great though! It was at the Methodist Camp and there were lots of people and we danced for hours! I haven’t had so much fun in a long time.

Today I had the best day! Mother’s Day is so wonderful! First let me say how wonderful my mom is! She’s the best!
Today Ryan watched Micah while I got to sleep in, and then we went to eat at a place called Tapas that I have been wanting to go to for a long time. Then we came home and tonight Ryan and I watched Bride Wars and had ice cream, leftover lunch, and sparkling grapejuice! Micah got me a beauitful necklace! He’s the best little baby! =)
What a special, wonderful blessing it is to be a mommy! It’s the best!

THis has been a busy week! Here’s the recap……….
Friday was the graduation of the students from the Bible Training Center. I decorated two cakes and spent the evening serving the food. I really enjoyed it and it made me miss catering!
raduation was a huge encouragement for us. It’s a time to celebrate what God has done in the lives of the students for the past two years that htey have been in the classes. It was special for Ryan too because he got to teach some of their courses.
Ryan picked me flowers this week. They’re sitting on the window sill and I smile every time I see them!
Update on Bitty: About two weeks ago he started waving byebye to people regularly. And this week he started clapping his hands whenever we do. It’s very cute! It’s fun to have him doing things like that on a regular basis. He loves playing with Tag still, and he will take his leash even and pull Tag around. He’s at such a fun age! We have family cuddle time and he loves it! And in the last week half of the clothes I put on him don’t fit anymore! He must have had a big growth spurt in the last week! He’s growing big and strong!

Two of my girls from my Bible Study came over today and hung out for a while, and tonight for Bible Study we watched some of Fireproof, then the electricity went out . It went well though and we’ll watch the rest next week.

Today was a littel rough. I left a glas of Crystal Light on our end table and Micah spilled it and it stained out couch and floor, and Micah. I tried forever to get it out of the couch, and never got it all out. Ryan went to an ordination of some of our friends from the Training classes, and then tonight we went to the Foxes for dinner. That part of the day was fun. But Micah and Tag seemed to get into everything together today! It was a mad house!

Today was a fun day. Ryan took me and Micah on a family date today to get ice cream! We went out to our favorite spot on the harbor, and there was a chicken family outside the cafe! There was a rooster, a hen, and a little chick! Just like us! Daddy, Mommy, and Micah! It was fun to watch the chicken family walk around together.
Then tonight we had the Foxes and Paul over for dinner. And we watched Slum Dog Millionaire. It was a good movie!
