This Tuesday didn’t seem too long like normal.  Classes went well, and in the times where I didn’t have classes I have been cleaning out MIcah’s closet.  It’s a HUGE task and I am far from being done.  I went through all his baby clothes and stuff and am giving a lot of it away.  I am hoping to try to figure out a way to put Micah and baby girl FLunker in the same room and have it not be cluttered and crazy.  We’ll see if it works.  It’s a small room already!  Hopefully I’ll finish the closet tomorrow.  I enjoyed jewelry making class today too.  I have a few new girls who have joined, which is fun.

It was hard to leave Spanish Wells today. We had a restful fun time as a family.  We went to the park and took walks, it was great!  We actually stayed an extra hour to relax before heading back to school.  The kids got back tonight though so the hard work begins again!  When we got home Micah said “It’s so nice to be home!”
Apparently Ryan and I are both entering the nesting phase of pregnancy.  When we got home he started cleaning out his office, and I have this huge desire to clean and gut and organize our whole house!

Another great day in Spanish Wells!  Ryan preached this morning at the Methodist Church.  We love going to church there!  We are always so encouraged, and Micah loves children’s church and all the people there!  He runs and hugs everyone he knows!  He’s even becoming more familiar with the kids and making friends.  This time though Micah had to sit with us for the normal service, which he had a little trouble with, but overall he did good.  We had lunch at the house we normally do with our friends, which was great!  And after church at night we had dinner with the PInders.

Micah loves their grandson who is around 18 months.  He does a great job with him!

Today we went to lunch with our friends from WIndermere, Aaron and Rachel. And Ryan and Micah went exploring. THey walked all the way to the park, which is super long! Then, Ryan had a meeting at church tonight so Micah and I went for a walk We walked down and sat on a dock for a long time. We saw what we thought could have been a shark, but in Micah’s mind it was for sure one, with big teeth that could bite through the dock! We watched the water for a long time and talked about lots of things. Then we walked back to the manse and then walked to church to meet Ryan. About half way there I got so tired! I forgot I was pregnant I think! It’s a lot longer to walk when you are pregnant! We made it though just in time for his meeting to end.

We got to go to the doctor today, and we all got to see our baby girl in my belly! She was wiggly as ever again. It was fun to have Micah there and for him to get the see the ultrasound. We had the doctor double and triple check to make sure the baby is still a girl, and it looks definite! She still looks healthy and is actually measuring about a week ahead of schedule. Praise the Lord for a good doctor’s visit! I’m 23 1/2 weeks right now, and tonight was the first time I got to just sit and watch my belly move up and down and all around with the baby’s kicks! It was so fun to watch! I have felt tons of movement, she’s a gymnist or dancer I think! And a few times I have been able to feel kicks on the outside, but being able to actually watch her kick from the outside was super cool! I remember the exact moment that we saw MIcah kick from the outside. We were sitting in small group on Amy TUrner’s couch and all the sudden my belly started moving! I watched baby girl kick for a long time tonight! It was amazing!
We got to have lunch at the Shipyard with Pops and Mama (Phil and Hillary) for lunch today. It was a blessing to spend time with them! Micah made them a Valentine that he was so proud of! During lunch MIcah played under the gazebo by the sea throwing rocks, a favorite of his. At one point he wandered off down a thin stretch of land that was surrounded by water. He walked a long ways all by himself. We watched him from inside the restaurant. I can just imagine the freedom he felt, thinking he was all alone walking all the way out there surrounded by the sea. It was fun to watch him be independent.

Today was the track meet again, and MIcah ran a race. He got 6th place, but he did great! He was running against all older bigger boys than him, so considering that he stayed right up there with them and I was proud! He had a good attitude even with losing, and he knew that he was the youngest, so that made him feel better. I love it though that he LOVES to run! But he still runs for fun. He wants to win, but he still runs like a little boy. I love that about him! I don’t want him to grow up!

After school, which ended half day, we headed for Spanish Wells. Yeah! We arrived here and were greeted by “Pops.” It’s so nice to be here for a long weekend! I am humbled that the Lord allows us to minister here. I know we are here so Ryan can preach, but for us we really feel blessed the whole time we are in SPanish Wells!

Almost Thursday! I’m so excited for the long weekend coming up! MIcah had a track meet today, so I ended up spending most of the day at his shcool. Ryan was able to go for part of it too, and we got to watch Micah in the softball throw. He came in 5th place, but did great! We just need to practice throwing with him I think! He had fun and had a great attitude, which I was proud of.

Today was a super busy day, as all Tuesdays are, but today I also had the job of working with Robin to make a bulletin board for the PTA at MIcah’s school. I love making bulletin boards! The problem was that we both forgot until the last minute! So today we scrambled to get it done. I went to the store this morning and bought some bulletin board paper to make a boat. They didn’t have the right colors so I improvised a little to make it work. I spent every spare minute inbetween classes the rest of the day cutting out letters and making the boat and water and sunshine. Then Ryan graciously volunteered to take my afternoon classes so I could work on it which was so helpful! Robin and I went to the school, arrive later than hoped, and had to stop by the store on the way there to get a staple gun. When we got to the school though we found that the staples they sold us didn’t fit the gun, so back to the store. We finally finished up the board though, ad it look great! I am thankful that we live in a place where I can leave MIcah on a playground and not worry about anyone taking him or something happening. Him and Javannah played the whole time we worked.

The PTA meeting tonight went great. Even though it makes one more big job for RYan to do and he has no time to spare, Ryan is a GREAT PTA president! I’m happy that we get to be involved in MIcah’s school and it gives us the chance to meet lots of people in Tarpum Bay and minister to and alongside many people!

I have missed so much from not writing journals! Here’s a catch up of February…..Micah learned to tie his shoes last week! Hooray! We really only practiced one day and he got it. I was proud! And after four good practices of riding his bike without training wheels he has gotten really good! This past weekend he learned to stop and go on his own, and he’s been riding everyday since! He falls a few few times, but he gets right back up! And he’s unfortunately a little dare devil. He has discovered that it’s fun to ride down the hill fast! I will be doing a lot more praying now! He also loves running! He’s practicing for his school track meet coming up soon. He’s running and throwing for it. Baseball has started too, but he says he doesn’t want to play baseball. He is hoping to play soccer and maybe sailing. We’ll see. He’s a runner for sure though!

He’s excited about the baby coming. She has been moving a ton in my belly lately, which I love! I have been still having the pain in my leg that I had when I was pregnant with Micah. Sometimes I just can’t put pressure on my leg. It usually goes away in not too long though which is good. God has been very good to us!

School has been going well. I have jewelry making class on Tuesdays, and this time I only have three kids in the class. It’s nice to meet in our house and have two hours to talk. I have been able to share a lot about my testimony and what the Lord has taught me, and even why I make jewelry. It’s been a great opportunity!

Valentine’s Day was great. Ryan got me a stuffed pig, which he named PJ, and a pin art toy that I have been wanting forever. And we spent the evening together as a family. It was a good day. We also got TV that day! We haven’t had cable since before Thanksgiving! We have been waiting for the cable company to come fix it. It only took them 4 months.

Ryan has been extra busy the last week. He’s pretty much always busy, but last week we had a water leak and he couldn’t find it for the longest time, so we didn’t have water most of the week. Then, he found the leak and fixed it……then our power went out! I am thankful though that it’s back on now. I am also thankful for the things in life that sometimes we take for granted, like a washing machine and stove, both of which broke for us, but we got new ones this month! Praise the Lord! It was rough not having a washing machine for a while! And Ryan bought me a stove while I was in Ohio. So now the oven door closes AND al the burners work! Yeah!
