I am very sad that I have not been writing journals lately. The Lord has given us a great couple of months, and looking back now, I wish I had been writing everyday about His blessings to us! The school year ended well, and the first few teams were great! We got to spend the weeks with some great friends from the teams, and meet new friends, and they got lots done! This week the Norton Grace team is here, with my Dad, Jeremy, and Noah! Yeah! It’s so great to have them here! Micah and Noah have been having fun cousin time since they got here! Sunday we went to club Med and they played in the waves for hours. THey had so much fun defying death! The waves were over their heads and they would drag them under to the shore, and they would just pop their little heads up and say how awesome it was! It’s a good thing they had on life jackets! Last week was the first time that Micah would put his head under water, which was a huge step for him. I took him to Sky Beach to practice swimming, and he did great at putting his head under water. Now if I can just get him to actually stay up in the water!
My dad is fixing our screens, which I am super thankful for! Yeah!
We have had some fun family time in the last few weeks too. We took MIcah to see The Croods, and it was really fun! The Rankines came too, and we had fun hanging out with them. I rearranged Micah’s room and cleaned it out (although it’s already a HUGE mess!) It’s ok though. Last night Micah and Noah slept in the living room for a campout and watched a movie. They have been sleeping on the same matress on the floor since Noah got here. It’s cute to go in in the middle of the night and see them all cuddled up like puppies sometimes! THey are good friends! Micah is just LOVING having him here! It is rainy though, but I am praying that the sun comes out for more beach time for them.
I am going to try to write a little everyday this summer. God is just doing amazing things! I don’t want to forget!
