We have been going to the beach a lot this week. We really like Ten Bay! Micah calls shark snot “smirley” It’s very cute! And, a big red coast guard helicopter flew slowly right over us very low then circled around again! It was very cool! We had a fun time at the beach! Micah is learning to swim. It’s a great beach for his to learn because it’s not too deep that he’s afraid, but it’s deep enough for him to swim. He’s a little fish! He gets better and better every time we go. He still has a long way to go though to actually swim himself. We are proud of him! He is also pretty much potty trained. He wears only big boy undies during the day and still a pull-up at night. He does a great job! He finally finished his chart too and got his firetruck!!! He’s very excited about that! I’m proud of his perseverance! He loves to jump from the couch to the table to the trampoline! He’s a little jumper! He always has loved to jump, and now we put a trampoline in the living room and he just jumps and jumps! He’s a little daredevil!
On the 25th we had our first dinner guest! Our friend Rhonda came over for dinner, and she brought Micah a tractor, which he loves! I love having friends over for dinner! We love our new house and I can’t wait to have people over more! God is so good to us!

We are finally done unpacking and house looks great! We love it! We say at least 10 times a day how much we love our new house! The Lord is so good to us! I feel like we have ben working on it for the last week straight! Probably because we have been!
I have been having fun re-reading the first part of my Bible study on the life of David. I see over and over how Gods Word is alive! He new things every time I read scripture!
Another praise, they just came around in a big truck and sprayed for Mosquitos! Hooray!
We got to hang out with our neighbors tonight for a little bit. They just had a little baby, who is so cute! I can’t wait until he’s old enough to play with Micah.

I love our new house! Today I finished Micah’s room, and our room, and the bathroom. There is still a mess in the living room, but the furniture is all set up and everything, and now it’s just organizing and decorating, yeah! One more day and things should be finished, maybe. The team burned all our boxes. They have been very helpful! One man on the team, Paul fixed Micah’s wooden tractor for him, Micah was really excited about that! Micah also ate all of his spaghetti at dinner. He usually doesn’t like spaghetti. I was proud of him. He also really likes his room! I do too! H fell right asleep for a nap today and at bed time tonight. He keeps randomly saying “mommy, I’m so happy now!”. I love hearing that! All three of us are so happy now. God has been so good to us! He has shown us so much love, grace and mercy! We are undeserving of all He’s given us!
I can’t wait to start back up on my Bible study on David tomorrow! It accidentally got packed all with all our stuff so I haven’t been able to do it for the last few months. I’m very excited to have it back!

We worked the whole day unpacking boxes! I was another great day! We now have all the boxes emptied and out on the lawn. Ryan got all of his stuff set up too. Our house is still a mess though so we are spending one more night at the little house.

The team that is here is so helpful! We started unloading our huge trailer at 7:00 this morning and we were done by 8:10! Only just over an hour! I am amazed! After that we spent the rest of the day unpacking. We got a lot done but not enough to sleep there tonight, so we are sleeping back at the little house for tonight. Another big day of unpacking tomorrow! It’s so fun! It’s really hard work though, but it’s great to have a home! Micah has had so much fun playing with the team! Everybody is instantly his friend. I love that!

Today was painting day! We painted pretty much all day. We had some very sweet ladies from the team helping us and they did a great job! We could never have done it without them. God always times things perfectly! The house looks great! Tomorrow is moving day! Horray!

We didn’t get to bed last night until after the fireworks, so today was a sleepy day for us. Micah and I took naps in the afternoon. Ryan worked at school all day and Micah and I ran some errands and did laundry. I think our nap was my favorite part of the day!

Today was Bahamian Independence Day! We had a fun day! We went up to Spanish wells for church this morning and spent the afternoon with our friends Donald and Candy with some other friends at their house. I love going to Spanish Wells! I always feel encouraged and blessed when we are there. The Lord has given us lots of great relationships there!

We rested today. The team left this morning. And tonight we went as a family to the beaches I explored yesterday. We explored the other side of the sand quarry, then we drove all the way down the road which led nowhere, but it was fun. It was like we were on Lost! The road never seemed to end. At one point Micah said “how are we Ever Ever going to get home?”. It was cute! We had a fun time exploring! Micah even found me a baby star nut palm! He found it all by himself for me!

Today was the teams day off. We went with them to Tippys for lunch. They are a great team! They are from a farming town called Pretty Prairie! I think Ryan loves them because they are all farmers.
Ths afternoon Ryan worked at the school and I took Micah to explore some new beaches. We went to winding bay and the sand quarry. They are GREAT beaches! I found some beautiful shells and Micah had fun playing in the sand. We are going to take Ryan there to explore soon!

tonight at bedtime we asked Micah “do you know what time it is?”. He yelled ” it’s playtime!!!!”. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!

We hung out with the team pretty much the whole day today. We went to VBS in savannah sound with the team. Micah had a great time! We had lunch with the team and went to Ten Bay. Ryan worked with the guys on the team all morning. They are getting a ton of work done! Tonight we had dinner with the team too. Micah has fun playing with the wood that the team is building with. He thinks he’s a carpenter! He’s a great one too!

We had a great July 4th today. It was sad to not be in the United States though. Micah and I made a paper flag! We had a great time! We ran some errands and had dinner with the team, and we went to the beach, which was the dock in Savannah Sound. Micah had fun playing in the water and filling his bucket to make “snail soup”. He loves hanging out with the team! It was a great day! Ryan spoke for devotions with the team tonight. And me and Micah came back to the house to try to get Micah to bed on time. I am shooting for 8:00 every night, but so far even when he gets to bed at that time he doesn’t fall asleep til 10 or 11. It may take. While to get him back on a schedule. At least he’s as cheerful as can be! He’s such a happy little boy!

In church this morning Micah lasted the whole time without having to be brought out of the service! Yeah! He is learning to sit and be quiet in church. It’s taking a long time for him to learn this lesson, but we are getting there. He was grumpy after church so we came back for naps and have been resting. I got to talk to my dad and mom today! I hadn’t talked to them for a while so I was grateful to get to. I miss them!

Eating lucky charms for breakfast is basically eating candy for breakfast. Even my three year old knows that. After he finishes the marshmallows and leaves the rest he says “mommy, can I please have more candy in here?”. At least he’s polite!
Today we went to poponi beach and went swimming. Ryans scraped his leg and needed to heal it in the salt water. we played for a long time and searched for treasures. Ryan and Micah found me a star nut palm! And we stopped and talked to a friend Rhonda for a while and we picked some coconuts. Coconuts have become a favorite of Micah. And us too. We had a fun family day! Now we are headed to the school to meet the team that came in!

First day of July! Unfortunately, Micah and I have been sick the last few days, and we both weren’t feeling well today again, so we pretty much did nothing all day. Ryan has been working up at the school, and Micah and I have been watching cartoons. Snce we don’t have tv we have been watching the same DVDs over and over again. I have fun cuddling with him though. The plan for tomorrow, if we feel better, is to go to the beach and have a family day at the beach then go meet the new team that’s coming in. I love having teams!
