Yesterday Ryan’s mom got here! She’s here to visit for a week. We’ve been super excited for her to get here, and it’s fun to finally have her here. She’s having fun playing with Micah.
So my ear infection got better then came back. Oh well.
It was a fun day anyways. Ryan and his mom actually poured concrete all morning at Dudley’s, and then she and I and Micah went to VBS with the team to Palmetto Point. Tonight the youth choir from Governor’s came and sang for the team. That was fun.
Micah says “all done” when he’s finished eating, and holds his hands above his head, and he just started to actually put his hands on his head, and today he had banana for breakfast so when he was finished he said “all done” and smeared banana all over his hair! He did it again at dinner. he’s so wonderful! He learned to put his hands on his head when we ask him where his head is, and his tummy too. It’s very cute, and today he kept saying “okay” all the time. Whenever we would say something he would say “okay” like he understood us!

What a special day today was! Ryan baptized one of the interns, Heather, in the sea today. And Lydia got baptized too. We had a special service on the beach this morning before church. It was such a beautiful picture of the church! Ryan got baptized on that beach when he was an intern so it was a privilage for him to baptize Heather.
We went to church at Oasis of Love today. They meet in a tent, and it’s a wonderful church that some of the students of the training center attend. After church Ryan watched Micah while we took the team to Club Med. They were filming a Tyler Perry movie there, so that was fun. The bodyguards made us swim far away though.

The team from Grace church in SC came today! It’s the Fastzkie’s home church. I actually haven’t met them yet though because Micah has had a hard day of teething and went to bed early. He has lots of teeth coming in right now! Poor little guy!

We went to Lighthouse today. It was beautiful as always. When i woke up this morning though my ear was killing me, it hurt soooo bad! so Ryan and I left after everyone else. Ryan got Micah for me in the morning and let me go back to sleep. He’s so great! It ended up good though because we were able to ride in our air conditioned truck to Lighthouse. It’s a long hot drive! On the way back we all stopped at a place called Papa George’s, then came back home. Tonight the interns came over and we watched the Gilmore Girls. It’s been a fun day. We’re all tuckered out now!

The Lord gave us a great trip as a team of CMA. We’re home now and I had to go get Tag from Spanish Wells tonight. My plan is to go to bed early…..

Another great day! This morning i got up early and walked around Atlantis. I watched the sharks being fed and had a long talk with the Lord. It was a good morning! Then I met everyone for breakfast and we played all day again. We went out for dinner tonight and then Ryan and I got to walk around together and sit on the dock where we sit each year together. We had good talks and a precious time together.

We are in Atlantis! Horray! Every year the interns get to go on a retreat there, and we had great flights and have had a fun day so far! And, we got pizza tonight! It’s been a long time since we’ve gotten pizza that I didn’t have to make! The weather is great! And Micah is having a blast going down the slides! He loves the water! Ryan is taking him most of the time and lettingme go play, so it’s a great break for me, but I have to say that when they aren’t there I miss them!

The past few weeks have flown by! We have had lots of fun with the interns! Ryan took them to the caves and they jumped off the cliffs. And I have been having fun making jewelry with them. And this week Ryan and I went on a date to Cocodimama. Ryan got a psta dish that had squid still with the tenticles on it, yuck! We had a fun time!

Still sick, but getting better, and today me and Bitty went to the beach with Alicia and the interns. We went to the Navy beach and had a great time! I feel a little better after sucking salt water up my nose, at least my nose isn’t running anymore, but I think my cold moved to my lungs. Bitty’s nose is still runny though, poor little guy. He never seems to mind though.
Tonight we had Bible study and then I went next door and we made jewelry! It was fun!

Still sick…..
I didn’t do much today besides the dishes and laundry and taking care of normal house things.
However, funny story, I couldn’t find my cell phone, and I looked everywhere! I assumed Micah took it somewhere, and even checked the trash can which he has been throwing things in a lot. I coudn’t find it though. Finally Ryan got home and he called it and it was in the cupboard! He has one that is in the corner that doesn’t have a lock on it, and he sticks all his treasures in there that he finds. I took all the glass dishes out and I let him play in it. He can fit all the way in it and he takes everything out and puts it all back in, and hides his treasures. It’s funny!

We slept in today and rested for the day. The Covenant Team left yesterday and we’re always exhausted after teams leave! It was a great team! My nose has been running the WHOLE day! Bitty too! We’re sick….

What a great Indepedence Day! We spent today with the CMA staff here in Eleuthera celebrating! We had a cookout at our house, and i got to decorate, and the guys grilled out! We had all the traditional American July 4th food, hamurgers, brats, chips, baked beans, and pie! We all pitched in with the food and had a great time! It felt like we were back in America! And Ryan, me and Bitty all wore red shirts with overalls and we were super cute!

Tonight we had a spaghetti dinner for the alumni of the training center. It was fun to see everyone again, and the team did a great job preparing everything and serving.
Micah has a cold, not too bad, but his poor little noce is running a lot. And he has a snurgle.

Summer is in full swing! My trip to NC was great! Now we’re back and we have a team from Covenant Fellowship. It’s a great team, and a big one too. They are building an awning on the other building next to ours, doing a VBS, and working on the clinic. I love team time with this team! It’s so great to be able to worship with them!
Today we went to ClubMed and Ryan and i went snorkleing. There were so many BEAUTIFUL fish! It was amazing! After a while I wasn’t even afraid that there would be sharks anymore. God sure is creative to make so many different fish and coral!
