What a great day today is! We have been so blessed to have some really wonderful friends here in Eleuthera. Today we got the chance to spend lunch with two of our favorites! Phil and Hillary came all the way from Spanish Wells to meet us in Governors for lunch just for Micah’s birthday. They even brought Micah a gigantic cake and presents! They are like Micah’s third set of grandparents! Micah loves them! We do too, it’s a blessing to have them in our lives!

After lunch Ryan and Micah went to mow the grass, and I cleaned up the house and organized Micah’s room. Then when they got back we played and had fun family time. There are some baby birds in a nest outside our house in a palm tree, and we have been going our to watch them grow. It’s fun!

The school day was kinda weird today, but good. It actually flew by, and the weekend in here! Yeah!

And….Happy Ryan Flunker Day! Yesterday Micah and I spent a long time making a poster for Ryan, and Micah was SOOOO excited to give it to him this morning! I am so glad that God gave me such a wonderful man! I am blessed that He loves the Lord more than anything! He wanted pizza for dinner, so we all had pizza and rested this evening for our Ryan Flunker Day celebration.

I went North today to get the mail. It was a fun day. Presents came for Micah’s birthday, and he can’t wait to open them! The rest of the day was spent cleaning the house. It’s funny how I’m always busier on my days off!

I woke up today and was sick. Ryan took good care of me though. I felt awful though and my blood pressure was high. It was very weird. I slept a few more hours and got better throughout the day. By the end of the day I was back to normal.

I got to spend the evening with the girl from the dorms again tonight finishing her project. I’m glad that God allows me to be a part of the lives of the girls here, and to help them grow and know and love Him more. It’s so humbling to think that He would use me.

Wednesdays are my long days. Today was a good one though. My kids were well behaved for the most part, and I had more energy for some reason, which was good. Church was cancelled tonight so we had some extra family time, which was really nice.

Micah loves making up songs, and he has recently started playing Ryan’s guitar and Mandolin, and he makes up songs as he plays them . His favorite is “Everybody loves God, everybody loves God, everybody loves God, everybody loves God.” It’s super cute! I think he just might be a worship leader someday!

Tonight I got to spend time with one of the girls from the dorm. She came over and I helped her with a school project, which was making jewelry. I had a great time talking to her. The Lord is doing great things in her life! I’m really proud of her!

I woke up today to find one of my best friends over our house! Tammy came over for Wadania to take a test at school. It was so good to sit and talk to her, and she did all my dishes and helped my clean. She has such a servant’s heart! I am so thankful for her friendship! When she left I finished a little more work and then went for a run/walk with Melissa around the Sound.

Praise the LORD! GREAT things HE has done!!! Today was the last day of Spiritual Emphasis Week. The kids have been doing community service in Savannah Sound yesterday and today. They have traveled the streets washing people’s windows and picking up trash. It’s been really good! And, one of the girls won a $10,000 scholarship, which is a HUGE praise!!! AND, we got all the stuff from customs cleared that we have been waiting for!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!! We have been praying and praying that the Lord would provide and He did! We got new tables, desks, chairs, white boards, trash bins, and more for the school! The Lord is doing great things on many levels here at Windermere! To see the lives of the students changed this week makes it all worth it!

Ryan drove Steve and Rita to the airport early today, and waited there for the Spiritual Emphasis speaker. While he waited, I prepared with my kids to do their first chapel. They did a good job for it being their first time. They were all super nervous. Spiritual Emphasis week started out great though! I am looking forward to seeing the Lord work this week!

Sad, Sad day. Our day started out really early when we woke to take the team to the airport. Micah cried from early and had trouble the rest of the day. It was sad to see them leave. Micah cried and cried!!!! His little heart was broken! He had a rough time after that going to school too. He was so tired from going to bed late and rising early, and he couldn’t handle anything. I felt so bad making him stay for school, but I had to teach classes. It took about ten minutes to get him to go into his classroom. The good part of our day though is that Steve and Rita from the team got to stay another day, and we had a good dinner and fellowship time with them on their last night. Goodbyes are just so hard!

We are already sad that the team has to leave tomorrow. It was sorta a different day today as the team is still here and we have school. Micah stayed home though to play with MiMi, who is feeling better. They played all day! School went well. It was actually a very good school day! And we had the team over for conch fritters and pina colada, and coconut ice cream tonight. Oh, and I filled my hummingbird feeder and it makes me so happy! They make me think of my mom!

Today the girls went to Blackwoods to give out dresses and shorts that the team brought. The kids there loved them, and we had fun hanging out with them and getting to know them. We stopped to all the sights too and ate lunch to the airport for conch. And for dinner we had the team over for ham and ribs. We had a great time of fellowship. We also had a mini brithday party for Micah. He wanted everyone to hide and then jump out and yell, suprise!!!! So we did, and he had the happiest, BEST look on his face! It made me so happy!

The team from Iron Mountain got here today! Yeah! And before that we went with Aunt Coleen to Ten Bay and spent the afternoon relaxing and exploring. It was a fun day! Micah is SUPER excited to have PaPa and MiMi here! I mean SUPER DUPER excited! Only one of the team members lost their luggage. We are praying that it arrives tomorrow. THe team is fired up and ready to work tomorrow even after a long day and a half of travel to get here. We are thankful for them being here!

No tricks for us, just a fun cloudy day. Aunt Colleen is here and we went to Sky Beach. It was too cold for Ryan and I, but Micah and Aunt Colleen went in the waves and the pool. Miah was more adventurous in the waves than I wanted him to be. He needs to learn how to swim. And obey better. Micah and Aunt Colleen went on several adventures around campus too. They have lots of fun together!!
