I made my first cactus, pineapple, pear smoothie this morning! I only got stuck by the cactus three times! It was delicious though! I had a great walk and a great lunchtime Bible study with the girls, and I got lots of housework done too! It rained a lot of the day, which was nice. We need the rain, and it even stormed again! It’s fun to have storms once in a while. God is good!

I had fun today showing my kids in school the movie “Pipi Longstocking”. And even though it’s an old movie, they referred to Pipi as “epic” so I think it was a hit! It has been storming all day, and last night the power was off all night. It looks like it will storm for a few days at least. I like the rain.

Micah has written his first song “Everybody Loves God.” IT’s a great song! He makes up new verses all the time, and Ryan plays it on the guitar. It’s super cute!

Ryan went back to Spanish Wells for church today to the Gospel Chapel. They were having a conference. Micah and I stayed home from the long trip though and I cleaned pretty much all day. There were THOUSANDS of termite wings everywhere in out house to sweep up. Can I just say that I HATE termites! I am thankful though for the song that Stephen Curtis Chapmain sings about doing everything you do for God’s glory. As I was sweeping up termites the Lord put that song in my heart.

To Spanish Wells again! Today was just a short trip though to help the People’s Church build their auditorium. We are thankful for the friendships that Lord has given us at that church. And I was proud to see the church working together on the building! We had lunch their and came home early afternoon. It was a great little trip!

Today we held the first annual school flag football tournament! It went well! The student council created the field, which they did a GREAT job on! I am proud of them! I am also proud of the girls’ team, who rocked flag football!

Today was Javannah’s birthday, and tomorrow is Robin’s birthday, so today they had a party. The kids all ran around and played, and the adults had fun too. Ryan had class tonight though so I took him home a cupcake.
Today on the drive home from school Micah said that Javannah was his girlfriend…then, they kissed!!!…on the lips!!!! This is not good. When I dropped Javannah off I asked Micah what that meant, and he said “that I love her and I will marry her.” I have to admit it was super cute, but they are too young! Oh man……

Happy Birthday to the BEST HUSBAND EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! The bad thing is that Ryan actually is sick today. I made him a big dinner and he couldn’t even enjoy it. It was very sad. And of course he was super busy with everything from school.

Spanish Wells! We got to go to Spanish Wells this weekend. Ryan preached at the Methodist Church Sunday for Mother’s Day. His messages were great! For the evening message he taught about faith and had Micah as an example. He had Micah run up the isle (which he LOVED!), then he loaded him down with tons of books and had him try to run again. Of course he dropped the books halfway. He did a great job! I was scared for a second that he would cry, but he didn’t, and he was proud. Ryan was actually hoping that he would drop them, and it worked perfectly into the message! Micah loves that church! He loves going to their Sunday School! I’m glad that he loves it so much! Ryan and I do too! =) Saturday was the church’s fair, and it was tons of fun! We played lots of games and Micah won tons of prizes! And we had snow cones and cotton candy, and fun things like that. And Friday night our dear friends, Phil and Hillary Pinder AKA Pops and Mama, had us over for dinner. Micah loves them, and going to their house. Hillary teaches Kindergarten and has tons of toys! We love spending time with them! It was a great weekend getaway for us. We left refreshed and blessed once more! Plus, I bought myself a Spanish Wells cookbook which I am very excited about!
