Today is our friend Leia’s birthday! I made her a cake and tonight her and the other Emily came over for a while to eat it. Today I went to school again too to read, which was fun. Then thisafternoon I took a nap because I had a headache.

Today we got two boxes in the mail! It was the best ever! Micah got one from the GA’s in Frisco for his birthday. They are so wonderful! And we got a box from Matt and Sukey too! We miss them so much! They sent an outfit for Micah, a movie for me, and salad dressing for Ryan =)
I read at school today too.

This morning we went to church in Palmetto Point and while we were singing Micah was singing too and he raised his little hand while he sang. It was so wonderful! It was like he was praising the Lord too!

I rested today. Micah and Tag love to play together! It’s fun to watch them. Micah tries to play fetch with Tag, and they have tugging contests, and Micah laughs and laughs at Tag!
Our electricity was off most of the day today. And tonight Ryan is working at the training center videoing a church service.

We’re trying to get back to normal after Kari left yesterday. I have spent the day doing laundry and getting random housework done, and I have to say that I wish Kari were still here! Now I have Micah and the puppy getting into trouble, most of the time at the same time!
Tonight at the Training Center a church showed “Fireproof.” I got to go while Ryan watched MIcah. It was a really good movie!

Micah’s first birthday! He weighs 25.6lbs and he’s 30 inches long. He opened his presents from my parents and Aunt Susan and Uncle Mike today. Then he spent the whole day playing with his new toys. I took some of his cupcakes from yesterday to the grocery store for the workers there. One of them has the same birthday as Bitty! I can’t believe my little baby is one year old! Actually I had a sad moment today. I get an e-mail every week since I was pregnant telling things about babies at his age. The subject line always reads “My Baby This Week”. Today the e-mail said “My Toddler THis Week.” It was sad. I say he’s still a baby though. I love him so much!

We had Micah’s official birthday party today! HIs real birthday isn’t until tomorrow, but Kari’s here still and she leaves tomorrow so we’re hvaing it today. Thismorning after Ryan went to chapel at Windermere we all went to Hidden Beach. We had a fun time! And then we spent the afternoon preparing for the party. The foxes came over for the party and the babies all played in Micah’s little kiddie pool that we got his for his birthda. THey had fun, and the adults had fun watching. It was a fun day for us!

This time last year I was about to have Micah, in fact, I had already went to the hospital once to have him that was unsuccessful! He turns one year old on Thursday…my little baby is getting bigger!
The past week has been very fun! I have been able to spend a lot of time with Kari showing her the island. We went to Club Med beach, and Rainbow, and all of us went fishing at Rainbow too. And one nighy Kari and I went with some friends from Camp Symonette to el Vinas. It was fun to go out with the girls! And we had a bon fire one night at our friend Abe’s house. There was no school here this week, so I didn’t go to school to read, and there were only a few girls at Bible Study Tuesday. We had some good converations Tuesday though, and one of the girls said that she accepted Christ into her heart, so that was very encouraging!
Sunday we went to James Point where lots of people were surfing, and Kari got to surf, and I swam way out to where they were surfing, which was an adventure! And today we went to Spanish Wells adn ate dinner there. Kari has a list of things to do before she leaves so we’re having fun doing all the things and crossing them off the list! Today we also blew up Micah’s little baby pool and he played in it. It was fun!
Yesterday was Ryan Flunker Day! Hooray!

Happy Easter! This week has been great! We have had Ryan’s parents and sister here this week. Ryan’s mom and dad left Friday and his sister will be here for a few weeks. Everyday has been filled with lots of fun and adventure! We took a tour of the whole island one day, from Harbor Island to Lighthouse. We went to the cliffs, the caves, and lots more! And we went to lots of beaches. Today we went to church for Easter at the Methodist Church here in JC and then Kari and I went to hang out with the staff of Camp Symonette. We went snorkeling, which was super fun! And, we finally got Tag the dog! He got used to Bitty now and jumps on him, which Bitty hates, but they play together too. He also says “baba” for his bottle, and “ma” for more, and he says “wow!” a lot! It’s very cute!
We had a birthday party for Micah when Ryan’s parents were here, and we cut Micah’s hair! Micah also got a Easter basket from Grandma Flunker and my mom got him an Easter bunny and little easter Bunny ears. Very cute!

What a great few days it has been! Since Ryan’s parents have gotten here Friday we have had non-stop fun! I think it’s been a little too fun for Micah. He’s pretty tired! We’ve had lots of fun playing with Tag the dog! He’s so wonderful! We have been to the beach everyday – it’s so fun to show the fmaily around! We went to captain Jacks and tonight we went to the cheeseburger palce on the cay. Yesteday we went to church in Hatchet Bay and Wade preached. Then we went to the Navy Beach. And today we had a work day. We finally got a washer and dryer!!!! Yeah! Ryan and his dad set them up today, and me and his mom worked on painting our shutters. And Kari arrived today too! When she got here we went to Club Med beach. It was fun once Micah got used to the water, which took a while. He has had a tough day. I accidentally shut his little finger in a door, which was the saddest thing ever, then later he fell and hurt his nose, and he’s just been falling apart all day. Poor little guy! HIs schedule is all off. It’s nine now and he’s not asleep yet. We have had lots of fun though with the family!

Today is Jeremy’s birthday! Happy Birthday Jeremy! I got to talk to my parents and Jeremy today, which was fun! And the Flunker’s had their first full day here today. We had a fun day! We took a walk thismorning, then Billy’s for lunch, then after we attempted to go to HIdden Beach, we went to Rainbow. The water though was really wavey and murkey, so we didn’t do much swimming. Micah loved collecting rocks from the sand, and the rest of the family went snorkling for a while. Then we went to Captain Jack’s tonight for dinner. Ryan loves their coconut shrimp! It’s very good! We had a wonderful day today! Micah is asleep now after his long day.

The Flunker’s are here! Yeah! Ryan’s mom and dad flew in tonight from Wisconsin. And, they brought our puppy, Tag! – Another Yeah! Tag is so great! He’s terrified of Micah. Micah is too loud and doesn’t quite understand what ” gentle” means yet. But I know that soon they will be best friends. Micah LOVES Tag! The grandparents were beaming when they saw Micah too. It’s so fun to have family visit!
