We had a fun family day today! We had lunch with our friend Lance, and CHick-fil-a. It was great to catch up! Micah had fun playing in the playland too! He met a little girl and they played together.
After lunch we went to the Cowboys Statium for a VIP tour. Our friends Pete and Rachel gave us the tickets! We had a great time! RYan loved standing in the spot where the Packers won the SuperBowl! And we went into the locker room and took a picture by Tony Romo’s locker. Maybe someday Micah will be a Cowboy!
Tonight we had coffee with our friend Bob Johnson. Micah got a huge cupcake and spent lots of time playing in the play area. I just love the precious family that the Lord gave me! I am so blessed!

We made it home safely from Wisconsin last night. It was sad to leave! Micah already wants to go back! He’s having fun with Haley and Nicolas though. He’s actually so exhausted! Tonight I gave him a bath at 6:30 and I cuddled him up in the towel to dry him off and he fell right asleep in my arms! It was precious. I just held him for a long time.

So my three year old is already smarter than me! For some reason I just cannot figure his seatbelt in his car seat out! It takes me forever every time to get it! But he gets it right the first try every time! Then he started saying “no, mama, let me show you how! It’s not this way…it’s this way!” Goodness! He’s smarter than me!
I got to go on a date with Ryan this morning to Barb’s Cafe. It’s a favorite place of ours! Tonight we had dinner with everyone at the CHuck Wagon. And Micah spent the afternoon with PaPa mowing the lawn.
Tag is good friends with Reba and Ed. It’s funny to watch them interact! He plays with Reba, and bothers Ed.

Well, the rapture didn’t happen yesterday like some people said it would. Those people sure really read their Bibles more carefully! I still await the rapture though. It would be so greta to be in the presence of God right now! I am thankful though that He isn’t done with me here on earth for the moment. I get to enjoy loving my family a little longer!
Micah was super cute today. He saw a cartoon that had a frog in it, and at breakfast he got upset because he was trying to stick out his tongue long like a frog, but his tongue was too short. We had a long talk about how God made people’s tongues short and frog’s tongues long so they can catch flies. He slurped his tongue for the rest of the day!

Today was a fun day! Ryan and i went golfing, my first time ever! We played 12 holes and Ryan did great! I however got a 60 but we had lots of fun! I think I did pretty good for my first time ever golfing! After that we went to the land and put away the tractors. We rode on the scooter there and back. We had a fun afternoon together! I have the best husband ever! micah had fun playing outside all day with MiMi and PaPa. He had two ticks though! One in his ear! Yuck!

We went to the park today and Micah played on the train bars for the whole time. I was the conductor and he was my helper. At one point he said “Oh shoot! That is bad! Sir, I broke it!” (He called me sir while we played the game). It was funny!

Ryan turned 30 today! Yeah! He’s excited to turn 30 while I think I will just stay 29 forever. I made him an apple pie with caramel sauce. It was pretty good if i do say so myself!
Micah is going through what I hope is a faze where he won’t tell me he’s sorry. When he gets in trouble, I spank him then we talk about it and he says he’s sorry and we hug and I tell him I love him and forgive him, ect. But the past few days he won’t tell me he’s sorry. All he wants to do is hug for like 5 minutes. Then after lots and lots of hugs, he will say he is sorry. I am not sure what to make of that. I have to say though that I like the hugs.
He has loved playing outside since we’ve been here! He spent all day yesterday playing outside. He’s such a great little boy!
Micah loves MiMi’s cookies! That’s all he ever wants!

If I had a banner I could put over my hear, it would say “The Lord Provides” He just provides everything we need, even in our doubt and fear at times. He is so good! We need a car in Eleuthera, and the Lord provided a minivan for us that was donated! And God worked it out that a friend, Julie, would drive the van for us to Florida! It’s just crazy to see God work out every detail. We spent a long time cleaning out the van when we got it and we had to have the windshield and exhaust pipes replaced, but now it looks great! Ryan and I went for a drive in it. He’s such a good husband! God gave me such a good man who takes great care of us!

We arrived in Wisconsin! Yeah! We had great flights here, but the night before we left Micah bonked his head on the wall and his forehead has a HUGE bump on it that is all black and blue and yellow. I wanted to take him to the ER, but he seemed to be acting normal, and he ended up being fine. Scary though for sure!

Today is Mothers Day. Let me just say that I have the best mom ever! And I am blessed to have the best little boy ever! I love being a mom! The Lord has blessed me more than I could ever imagine! Micah drew a picture of me in church today. It was a spitting image =) Micah and I went to the park today after church and he found the sandbox right away. He loves sand! Ryan and Micah got me a card and a necklace for Mothers Day today, and we celebrated with a cookie cake yesterday at the mall. God is so good to us!

So when I tell Micah not to do something I always say “no sir!” And sometimes when we play he calls me sir. It’s very funny! Or I’ll give him something and he’ll say “thank you sir!”
He’s growing up. He still sleeps with his blankie and doggie but he doesn’t cling to them or carry them around anymore. He’s just getting so big!

Micah is just so sweet. Today he said “I want to see my best friend.” I said “who is your best friend?” He said “Daddy! Daddy is my best friend!” I just have the best family!
