Valentines Day is the BEST! Ryan and I got engaged on this day 7 years ago! It has been a GREAT 7 years! This whole week was full of celebration for us. We went on a Valentines camping trip this past weekend, which was soooo fun!
Sunday we had a lunch at church. Ryan and I even won “Best Dressed”. This was by default because there was nobody else who entered the competition, but that’s ok! We’ll take it! And Micah tied with all the rest of the kids and they all got a candy. He was cute standing up front with all of them.
He’s also so big, and now he sits with the rest of the kids at the kids table for banquets, which I have mixed emotions about. We had a great lunch though with our church!
The actual day of Valentines Day was great too! I made cinnamon rolls for breakfast, which s a treat for us! Since they are not very festive though, I made jello hearts too! We exchanged Valentines and had a fun breakfast together before school.
I have made over 120 cupcakes in the past week! some of those went to the staff at Windermere and some went to Micah’s class. So I was still decorating cupcakes on Valentines morning.
Micah and I went around passing out cupcakes and Valentines to everyone here, and to my surprise, and group of Senior girls gathered around me and started singing “You are so Beautiful”! Ryan had them sing to me and bought me a teddy bear basket. It was fun! He’s great! The girls did a great job singing too!
Micah had fun at school. He has been waiting for Valentines Day because his teacher said he could bring his guitar and play it today. He loved playing for his class. I wish I had video taped it!
They had cupcakes and all dressed up today, and they made Valentines and little bags to hold all their goodies in. We all had a fun day! Micah is understanding love more now, and I used today especially to teach him that we love others because God loved us first. I am so thankful for the love of the Lord, and that He allows me to love my precious family and friends!
