Micah’s Preschool Graduation – by Emily

We are so proud of the little boy God gave us! Today Micah graduated from Agape House Preschool. Agape House was an answer to prayer for us.

We prayed for a long time that the Lord would lead us to a school where the teachers would love the Lord, and love Micah. Micah’s teachers were great! And they love the Lord, and Micah, and they have taught him so much in the past two years.

Mrs. Bethel did a great job putting the graduation ceremony together! It was decorated beautifully! And there was a great turnout! All the kids did a great job too! They sang songs, stated lots of facts about the Bahamas, said pledges, spelled words, counted to 100 by 2s, 5s, and 10s, and the girls did a precious little dance!

The night started out with the kids saying their parents names, where they lived (Micah said “home”) and what they wanted to be when they grow up.

Micah said he wants to be a policeman! I think he would be a great policeman! (Today he actually said he was going to call the police because I didn’t let him lick the icing off the beater!)

Micah got several awards – Math, Spelling, Religion, Reading, and of course his “diploma.” My favorite award though was a special one that he got for “Christian Character.” It made me so proud! If he didn’t get any other awards, I would be so happy with that one!

Micah also got to say the closing prayer. He had a little trouble in the beginning. I think he had stage fright, but then he got the hang of it and did a great job leading everyone in the Lord’s Prayer.

We are so very proud of Micah! He did a great job in preschool, and he did a great job at graduation! I can’t believe he will be in Kindergarten next year!!! He’s so big!

Checkout the “best of” videos below, they are stuffed with “cuteness!”

Be sure to watch the last video, Micah was the only one in the service with his own part, and he did a great job with the closing prayer – so cute!

Here’s is what he has learned – he is smarter than us!

Even though it is preschool – we’re very proud

Here is his closing prayer.
