We had fun riding bikes today! Maggie and Annika and Harry came over today and all the kids played. I love watching Micah play and make his own memories here. The kids made their own “tree house” behind the garage even! I love it! We also finally got Micah’s passport stuff turned in, and hopefully it will be back soon. We miss Ryan! Micah is at VBS now. I am praying that the Lord draws him to Himself. I got saved when I was four after VBS. It means so much to me that the teachers and workers give up their weeks to teach my little boy about Jesus!

I went to the NOrth Campus for church today. Their children’s ministry is really cool! Micah had lots of fun! And the big service was really good too. The preacher talked about doing good, for the right reasons, and not finding excuses for not doing the right thing. It made me think a lot more about our church and how I want to start a Childrens Church. I am excited to do that when I get back to Eleuthera!

We had a Pfeister Family Picnic today and Uncle Chet and Aunt Marsha’s house. It was fun to see everyone, and Micah had lots of fun playing with his little cousins. He especially had fun playing in the water! And they had Thomas the Train and a toy jeep that Micah could rise so he was in paradise! It was a fun afternoon!

Today is our last day here with Uncle Mike and aunt Susan, which is very sad! We had another fun-filled day though! We went to go see Ice Age 3. We all liked it! It’s a good movie, and even Micah and Annika liked it after they got past the scary parts. I liked cuddling with Micah through the scary parts. We also had a big water fight today. I had a perfect water balloon and aunt Susan “tripped” and burst my water balloon all over me! That started a big water fight! It was super fun! We are going to miss Uncle Mike and Aunt Susan!

We went to the park today! This is no ordinary park either, it’s a super-duper fun one! We got to ride a train, and the kids road boats, and the kids played for a long time. And we got to ride the carolsel! Micah had lots of fun! I wish we could’ve stayed the whole day, but it was super hot! We went to McDonald after that for lunch and ice cream! And tonight Noah and Uncle Mike went to a baseball game and the rest of us cuddled up and watched 101 Dalmations. MIcah had never seen it, but he liked it because his doggy is a dalmation, or at least at one time he was; his spots are all gone now from all the cuddling and being dragged around and played with.

we had lots of fun again today! Each day that we have been here in North Carolina has been so fun! Micah got to go fishing with Uncle Mike and Noah today. It went a lot better than we all expected, this being Micah’s first real fishing trip and everything! His favorite part was the worms, of course! The kids all played in the pool too, and the sad part of the day was poor Micah scraping his knee. He fell in the driveway and scraped it pretty bad. It was bleeding a lot, and it was so sad to have to clean it out and put a bandaid on it! I felt so bad for him! He limped around for a while after that.

We went to the zoo today! We were all exhausted by the end of the day for sure, well, at least the adults were. We had lots of fun! We got to see lots of animals, and of course the kids had lots of fun running and playing too. I love seeing the gorilla, and one came right up to the window and sat and laid down right in front of us! It was very cool!

Happy (early) birthday to Anikka! Wer had a fun birthday party for her today, with a scavenger hunt, pin the tail on the donkey, play dough cake making, dance party, and her favorite cheesecake! We had a fun day! And Uncle Mike took Micah and Noah fishing today. He even got Micah his own pole, and they had a fun terms! Uncle Mike spent most of the time untangling lines, but they all had fun!

Today was a day off for Katiera and I! We went shopping, and Ucle Mike and Aunt Susan took the kids to Marbles Children’s Museum. They had a blast! There was so much for them to play with there, and even though Uncle Mike and Aunt Susan were exhausted by the time they got back, it sounded like the trip was awesome! They had a giant pirate ship, big blocks to build, and big fire truck, a kid sized kitchen and vet, and much much more! And Katiera and I went to some shops and got lots of my shopping list done! We had lots of fun, and we got to go to Taco Bell for lunch! We have been spending lots of time outside playing, riding bikes, playing baseball, doing sidewalk chalk, and running all around. And each night Micah has fun after he is supposed to be sleeping. He runs back and forth from his cousins room and they sneak all around. Someday he will remember sneaking all around with his cousins thinking they are getting away with it. I like that he will have that memory.

W had a fun day today, but in the midst of all the fun Micah was super tired and kept hurting himself! He bummed his chin at the playground, bonked his head on the bathroom door, and skinned his knee riding bikes! And other than that he fell a couple more times too! Poor little boy had a rough time and ended up falling asleep for the night before dinner, around 6:00. He was tuckered! Uncle Mike and Aunt Susan bought a pool for the kids to play in (which after hours we finally got blown up!). And the kids had a blast playing in it and shooting water guns! It was a fun day for sure! I am praising the Lord that Micah didn’t get more hurt today. God watches over him extra I think!

Long day today…..we drove to Nrth Carolina, Katiera, me, and the kids. The kids all did a great job!!! The minivan that Katiera got had a DVD player in it which was awesome and kept the kids occupied for a long portion of the trip. W finally made it to Uncle Mike and Aunt Susan’s house!!!!! Yeah!!!!!

Tomorrow is the big day where we drive to North Carolina. Katiera and I went car shopping today, and found one! The Lord worked it out perfectly too! The first one, however, that we test drove we took to the mechanic to check out and they said they had already checked that one and it wasn’t good. We found out that that was truthful on the way back to the dealer and the electric went out in the van and the radio stopped and the windows wouldn’t move, and the speedometer only read 0, not good! We could only go very slow but the Lord got us back to the dealer. We found a “maybe” one then went to another dealer, with no luck, but then on the way we found a van for sale that the owner had just put out, and it was perfect! Praise the Lord! I went shopping for the trip too, and tonight is packing, packing, packing…again! I feel as though there will be a lot of packing on this trip! =)

We went to see Brave today! I had been wanting to see the movie, and so had Micah. Mom and I took Micah the the other kids, and they all liked it. They were all a little afraid at times, but not too bad. It was a good movie. The kids spent lots of time today playing in the yard. I love watching him play in the yard like I used to. And they rode bikes a lot. Micah is still in a racing phase. He just wants to win! He is getting a little better though slowly. Dad and Katiera went car shopping, but so far they haven’t found anything. We are praying they find something before tomorrow. It’s been a good day! Micah got grumpy towards the end of the evening though. I feel bad for him having his schedule all messed up. He sure is having fun though!

We ran lot sod errands today, most of them turned out to be unfruitful. That’s ok though. I was a good day anyways. Micah has been having trouble obeying since we got here. I am trying to have extra patience with him because he’s in a different place and his schedule is all messed up. I am hoping that he gets better. I am enjoying the time with him. I love seeing him do fun things and interact with my mom and dad. I’m glad he loves them! On this trip there are a lot of moving pieces, a lot of things to get done that I have no idea how they will get done or when they will get done. But I have put it all in the Lords hands because I know that He always has perfect timing.

Church was great today! I love being able to put Micah in Sunday School (which he loves!) and sit thorough the service! I didn’t want the service to end! I got to see lots of wonderful people who I haven’t seen in a while too! God is so good!
Afer church I got to take a nap too! And we had dinner and Micah and I rode bikes outside for a long time after we all went for ice cream at Welch’s. Micah has developed this things where he hates losing, and everything is a race for him. I am trying to teach him that Jesus wants him to try his best and even when he loses to congractulate the winner. He is learning all this slowly though. When I would beat him in a bike race half the time he would say “great job mommy! Woohoo! ” and the other half of the time he would get off his bike, cross his arms and go sit at the picnic table and pout until I went over and we talked things through again. I am praying that the Lord helps him to be a good sport!

The lord gave us a great day again! We went to the Akron Zoo today! Micah loved seeing his cousins, and Katiera’s sister and her 5 kids were there too so there were 9 kids! It was super fun! I was also hot, 100 degrees, but not as much humidity as Eleuthera so it actually didn’t seem too bad to Micah and I. This time Micah enjoyed the animals more than last time, but I think his favorite part was still playing around and running with the other kids. We got to ride the little train, which was also a highlight. Maybe sometime we will get to go on a real one! Micah’s favorite animals of the day were the Lemers and the flamingos. He ran and ran and ran, and after the zoo we stopped to get ice cream cones to cool off. I am thankful the God made animals for us to enjoy! I loved seeing Micah’s face when he saw them!

We had a great day today! We took Mom to work this morning and went to my friend Stephanie’s today. We spent the morning and afternoon with her and her sweet kids. Miah had tons of fun with the kids! He loved all their toys too! He even tried to rollarskate! He now wants rollarskates. It was fun to catch up with Stephanie! After that we went to run errands with Dad and then all went to dinner. After dinner Micah raced with Aut Barb. She rode her scooter and Micah rode the bike…Micah won every time which he was very proud of! I forgot to write yesterday that I asks Micah what the national bird of the Bahamas was and he said Bahamas Air! We laughed!

Long day today, but the Lord gave Micah and I a good day of travel. The hardest part was leaving Ryan, and the second hardest part was being in Nassau for 7 hours, but it was worth the best part…..we are at Grammy and Papas!!! (mom and dad’s) Micah has been SOOOOOOO excited all day! I am thankful that the Lord kept us safe, and that He let Micah sleep on the longest flight! We miss Ryan already, which Micah made known throughout the day. It’s nice to be here though! We are super tired, so time for bed!

Today I watched Javannah and Javian for the afternoon. Micah had so much fun playing with them that he fell asleep right after they left, and Javian fell asleep on the floor! They had a ton of fun playing in the sandbox, on the slide, and with all of Micah’s toys! I’m thankful that Micah has good friends to play with!

I am sad to see June go. It was an excellent month! But so far the Lord has made July great and I am excited to see what He has in store for the rest of it!
Church was good today. Micah still had a few problems, but for the most part he was good. I was able to here at least the Bible passage part of the sermon, and I got to go back and read it later, about Elisha and the widow who only had a little oil and the Lord turned it into tons of jars of oil to save her and her boys. I as reminded yet again of the Lord’s faithfulness and provision which I see daily in my life! It left me again in awe of the Savior!
Afer church we went to Sky Beach for lunch and went swimming, and Micah swam like a little fish! He had been saying for a few days that he has a surprise for us, which he told me but kept from Ryan. He said he was going to swim by himself and jump off the side…..and he actually did it! For the first time he let go and swam all by himself! He loved swimming from Ryan to me and back again! From that point on all he wanted to do was swim by himself (he swims with his little arm floaties on). And, he even jumped off the sides and into my arms!!!! I am so proud of him! And he would kick off the side and even go under for a second but then he shot back up and kept swimming! He had trouble leaving the pool and it was almost a meltdown, I am pret sure all he wants to do is swim now! I love watching him and swimming with him! It’s so very fun!
