Jeff Larson

My good friend and our Mission’s Pastor, Jeff Larson, has finally (with sarcasm) made it to our position at Windermere High School. We in our third year here on campus and we’ve been excited to show Jeff all we’ve been up to for these past few years.

During Jeff’s visit, I asked our Bible College students to come and speak with him for a time of sharing and their testimonies of the program were very meaningful. The spoke of how there is never any going back to the way they used to understand the Bible or church and how thankful they are to FBC for their supporting the Yates and Flunkers that we can bring this kind of training to the island.

Jeff and I used to work together at FBC and we would routinely find ourselves engrossed in some theological conversation. It wasn’t very long in his trip that Jeff and I were out late at night walking along the shore and sharing both our experiences for what God’s been teaching us and solving the world’s problems as-it-were as we went back and forth on those favorites of theological interest (free will, the problem of suffering, election, etc). I can’t even describe how nice it was to have my friend to talk with again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time for Jeff’s short stay as he was headed out to the Dominican after his visit to Eleuthera.

Its such a blessing to have a brother who can help to sharpen you in your ministry setting and unconditionally support the work God has you doing. We are truly blessed to be sent by FBC and Jeff, we’re thankful for not only your leadership, but most of all your friendship.

Come back again soon.
