I love Halloween! Each year we have fun Trick-or-Treating with our friends in Spanish Wells. This year Micah was a pirate. After last year he decided he wanted to be a polar bear this year. This lasted until last summer when he decided he wanted to be Batman, so I bought him a Batman costume when we were in the States. The problem is that he wore his costume everyday!!!! I told him that he can’t be something for Halloween that he wears everyday. So he decided on a pirate, which worked perfect because Katiera had given me the perfect costume this summer! Javannah was Izzy and Javian was Cubby from Jake and the Neverland Pirates, so the three of them had fun playing pirates. And Robin and I fought them to take pictures =) They were great pirates!
On Halloween night we went with our friends Ryan and Melissa to Spanish Wells with their son Isaac. We met our friends, Donald and Candy, and followed them and some other friends around for the evening Trick-or-Treating. Isaac was Spiderman and he and MIcah had tons of fun. They got lots of treats, and Micah came home with $17 and a pillowcase full of snacks! Micah and Isaac especially loved the boat ride too! It was fun to watch their excitement as we crossed to Spanish Wells, and back in the dark.
We got to visit lots of great friends on our trip too, and Micah loved hugging them all as he Trick-or-Treated. We had a fun family night! I loved watching our little pirate run from house to house and seeing the smile on his face! The Lord has given me the best family! I am thankful to share nights like tonight with them!
