What an exciting day! With Emily’s parents with us, we got discover if were expecting a boy or a girl today! And guess what, you’ll never believe but we’re going to have a boy!
Emily and I both wanted a girl, because we think that a little girl would just be so cute, but secretly we were really hoping for a boy. That’s because of the dynamic from which we both grew up – I’m an older brother to a younger sister, and Emily is a younger sister to an older brother. So, we hope that’s what our kids get too.
Emily and her Mom and Dad went out and bought some super cute little overalls for the new baby. It was really cool so see him on the ultrasound. He was wiggling all over and you could see his little heart beating so tiny and quick.
You can see in this picture a shot of his toes from his little foot. I actually think he’s got big feet and will probably be a basketball player someday! Emily was still hoping for a little girl too, I think she wanted both. And how strange too, everyone said that they thought we’d be having a girl – I’m pretty sure I’m the only one who was pulling for a boy. But, as many people can tell stories, you never really know what you have until delivery day! And that day is probably coming quicker that I think! Yikes! It’s a BOY!
