By “Snow Days” I really mean A LOT of Snow Days! Since we have been back in the The United States it has been super snowy most of the time! The snow is beautiful! (sometimes a little tricky to drive in, but beautiful none the less) My favorite is the BIG snowflakes! The kind that float and you can catch on your tongue!
We lots of fun in January and February, then we were gone in March, and one would think that the snow would have been gone by then, but our sweet little boy prayed that he would get to ride the snowmobile one more time, and God answered his plus extra!
Micah’s favorite thing about the snow is riding MeMe and PaPa’s snowmobile! We somehow fit him, Ryan, and I on all at once and trek around exploring. It’s super fun! God’s creation is amazing!
Micah also loves to sled down the hill by MeMe and PaPa’s house, which he can do for hours on end! And he loves to build snow forts and snowmen. He made a snowman outside our house that looked like Olof! He also loves to eat the snow, which I admit I kinda love to do too. I guess I never grew up in that area! And we have had many snowball flights too!
Sadie hasn’t decided yet if she likes the snow. She went sledding once and liked it for a while, but soon got tired and cranky with it. Maybe next year! Micah wants to learn to snowboard next year too!
We miss the beach, but the snow has been a great exchange! God is great to give us so many things in nature to enjoy as a family!
We are so thankful for the short time we had with family, and only wish it could be longer. Sometimes it feels like the days are moving so slowly, and other times it feel like May will be here in no time. We will certainly be looking forward to seeing them again this Spring.
