The last three weeks we have had the privilage of having our dear friends, Matt and Sukey Lynskey, visit! It was a huge blessing to have them here! They also brought their two beautiful daughters, Abigail and Leila. It was fun to have babies around the house, and Micah did a great job making them giggle and smile!
We got to do a little sight seeing while they were here. We went to the beach a few times and we went fishing at the dock a few times too. Ryan caught a fish even! Matt taught classes in Rock Sound for two weeks, and he got to attend graduation too. And Sukey got to visit the JC Primary school with me and Global for church on Sunday. I was glad that she got to attend the Baby Dedication for my little godchild, Kyle.
Micah loved having their family staying with us. Even now while they have gone he asks about them everyday. Matt and Sukey are his godparents and it was a blessing to have them be here for him to get to know them more.
Their babies stayed healthy the whole trip, which was a huge answer to prayer! Unfortunatly, everyone else but Sukey got pretty sick for a few days. The stomach flu is NOT fun!
The Lord has blessed us with such good friends. The timing of their trip was perfect. We had lots of long conversations and had lots of opotunities to be an encouragement to one another. They are iron that sharpens our iron for sure! Also, Ryan and Matt got the chance to begin the process of their doctorite work. They are working together and being able to talk in person about their upcoming work was great! Plus Ryan loved having someone to talk theology with!
Pray for Matt and Sukey and their babies. The Lord has protected them and been very faithful to them! They are waiting in expectation for where the Lord would have them serve next. We’re excited to see how the Lord uses them! He has already used them in a great way in our lives!
